Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I have just started my own business and i am being helped with coaching and tools through a company out of the U.S. called 'Thrive'. I don't know much about them though they seem to know what they are talking about. Has anyone else here dealt with them or know of them? Just curious on that point as I have already paid my dues and so if they are fly-by-night then it is already too late. That being said, they have hooked me up with Doba for my U.S. sales and then I went looking for a Canadian dropship alternative and found this site. I am looking forward to using this site and look forward to learning the ropes of my new E-commerce business and getting to know you fine folks that utilize this site. Anyway, that is my speech for today. Feel free to drop me a line.

Hi Z, never heard of them myself, but if the best they can do is hook you up with Doba, then I have to say that I'm unimpressed!

Thanks for the reply. Thrive does more than that they also provide tools and coaching to help build your business and they are committed to helping me to regain my 12k investment. There success is based on how great of a testimony they can get out of me. So the quicker i make money the better the testimony.

I hope I'm not reading that right, you didn't actually pay them the 12k, I mean I assume that has gone on some sort of business infrastructure : )

If they were charging 12k, then their success would be assured with a few clients, forget about the testimony lol

As for making money, all I can say that if Doba was their premium supplier, then you will seriously struggle to make back 12,000, no matter how many tools they provide, or what advice they support you with.

You know, I'm struggling with that 12k figure, maybe you are just having a joke with us, but I can't mesh together how someone could spend 12k, and then still be looking at a drop shipper to make money from.......what am I missing here?

Perhaps you could tell us a little more about what you have paid them and what they are going to do to get you a return on your investment, cause I have to say that I am a little worried with what you have written so far : (

The company I paid is using the money for training me to launch my E-commerce business. In a nutshell they provide coaching and contacts to get started in an e-commerce business. The idea is that they give me the tools to sell on e-bay and get me started in my own website where i can then sell products from there. I have noticed from their website that they are a part of the BBB and are in good standing. I don't believe they are stealing my money (well i hope not) but let me tell you that by spending that kind of money motivates one to do this business at least to get their money back.

Here is a list of the things that they listed as part of the program that i purchased.

I admit that i am not sure what each of these items cost but i will have to see if I can get a breakdown of these costs. Unfortunately if I get cold feet now I wouldn't get my money back so I have to push forward. My hope is that the folks here will be able to help me to succeed in this venture with all of your vast collective wisdom.

Sorry, still not quite sure, are you are in fact saying that you have actually paid these guy 12k for this service or how much did you pay?

Yes I have paid these guys already. Like I said I am commited to this program and can't back out. Though I appreciate your thoughts on this. Here is a website you can look at.. if it works for you.

Sorry to be so blunt but you fell for it. They are a new group and your the 6th person this year that I have talked with who has sent them in a ton of money.

The bottom two I have not seen but you can get that software to 'search the market' for real cheap and 90% of it is useless anyway.

So your break down is well $35.00 If you had a website built it would be a little more than $300.00 If I remember correctly these guys don't even build you a website. You have to build it yourself ?

Your right they cloned whitehouse.gov to make their website seem more important . It is actually a brilliant marketing scheme, as most people have been to whitehouse.gov/ but you never really pay attention to the details. Then they come over to this site and for some reason it feels safer than others , brilliant.

ouch... for 12K they would have to fly me where ever it is and show me. you couldve gone into real estate for that, my lake lot didnt cost 12K. maybe its bigger than it sounds but it doesnt really sound good. hope something works out for you though.

Good digging Jason, been trying to find the time to take a closer look at these guys myself.

I knew something something was wrong from the very start of this thread. Kept trying to get my head around 12,000, and what that could be spent on when choosing a drop shipping option, but once the member made it clear that is what they took and then supplied him with DOBA...........I knew he had unfortunately been taken for one massive ride.

OMG, I've seen plenty of scams and shams, but not sure I have ever seen anything quite on the scale of what these guys are getting away with!

I can't even work out the formula they have used to price their (services). It's like they just sat down, threw a figure around and decided that they would have a chance at getting a few in to clean up!

I'm completely stunned, I really am, no offence Z, I know your are inexperienced, but this is a good lesson for every new inexperienced member.

These guys are a part of Doba they are out of Utah 1 and the same . Ever heard of the Utah Mafia ? That is where Doba and all these places come from nothing but scams and garbage coming from these segregated breeding camps, basically all these scam sites from there feed their cults and supply their supreme leaders with money.

Their are 23000 more links that apply to this but basically in a nutshell do not do online business with anyone from Utah unless you personally investigate the company, and know what your getting into.

I am sorry Bigz but you have been taken for a big ride. They are a fly by night however if you paid with a credit card you can file a charge back, and re coop your money IF you are lucky. These guys and Doba are the same and Doba is a scam. I hate to disappoint you, but go to Google and type in DOBA SCAM, and see the results for yourself.

Well there is some food for thought. thanks everyone for your thoughts on this. I guess I will have to talk to Thrive about what I have learned and see if they are willing to refund but according to some of the talk that may not be possible. I guess because all of the money paid to them went through my credit card I could talk to my credit card company about a refund of this amount but would I not have to prove to them that this organization is a scam? Thoughts on this?
