Need suppliers of authentic products that ships to NZ

I have been on Salehoo for quite a while now and still have not made a start. Whenever I get a product I really think I could sell, then it's on an American site that only sells to America or Chinese products that are counterfeit.

Can someone from New Zealand really make this happen, Especially since we do not have ebay here!

I am slightly despondent, with myself mainly as I am jumping around like a jack in the box and have not been able to find my niche.

I am passionate about this and want to make it work! HELP

Yes, actually getting started can be over whelming and completely frustrating at times. You have all that energy to put into some venture, but you can't quite right the right door to open.

No doubt at all that it is possible, in fact I know at least one of our support staff here at SaleHoo does it herself from New Zealand!

What supply avenue are you looking at, drop shipping into NZ in particular, or are you looking at buying in stock to sell?

Hi Artreyu,

1) Most suppliers these days are willing to ship outside the US as they are keen for as much business as possible, so even if they don't say it on their website don't rule them out. Try contacting them and asking if they are prepared to, you never know your luck!

2) Stay away from branded goods in China, its not worth the risk. Only use them for non branded or generic products as they are usually much cheaper there than the US, just keep an eye on quality.

There is still plenty of room for making some good money on Trade Me and alot of people are very success there.

Try our Research Lab for some ideas or the forum - there are alot of great ideas and products that people are sharing with each other.

Keep your head up and don't give up - its the easy way out ;)

Concerning drop shipping, not too keen unless it is the only good option. For instance if I where to sell products from the USA in the USA. But must still do some research as to if this is possible or not. The payments are usually the problem here as you need a bank account in the USA.

I would like to buy stock rather, and ship this out to the customer when purchased. I will definitely make use of the Research Lab, thank you for that.

I will not give up and I am determined to make this work! I will continue to look for that/those "niche" item/s to sell in New Zealand, and hopefully abroad.

Hi Artreyu,

That's the wonder of online selling you can sell anywhere you please. Even if you are in NZ, you can sell in the US and use a US based drop ship supplier as well. And I don't think you really need a US bank account to do this. Just make sure you offer your customers safe payment methods, like credit cards and/or use the services of 3rd party payments processors like PayPal, Gooogle Checkout and MoneyBookers to name a few.
