Trying to source home winemaking supplies: carboys (PET and/or glass), airlock etc

Hi, I am a new Salehoo member and have a new e-commerce business www.makewine.co.nz

It is a specialist home winemaking supplies business.

I have had some difficulties with agency distributors in NZ refusing to supply me as my business is e-commerce (I'm not normally bitchy but doh! who do you want to be: Amazon or Whitcoulls??).

I'm specially trying to find (in reasonably small quantities):

Rubber bungs with 8mm hole - 28mm diameter and 60mm diameter (NZ manufactured ones seem to be too expensive for me to be competitive)

5 litre / 1 gallon glass carboys

Plastic airlocks

Hydrometers

Amylase

Plastic champagne corks

Wire champagne "baskets"

Thanks for your response Irene. Unfortunately none of those are suitable. LD Carlson require bricks and mortar store. Winequip do not supply homewinemaking stores, and I can't find the exact page you've sent me to on the wine enthusiast, but I think that is for something to put a bottle of champagne in to. What I am after are the wire cages that wire down the corks for sparkling wine so they don't pop off under the pressure of fermentation. Thanks

This one has the hydrometers, airlocks and carboys, and is a wholesale supplier, and can send internationally - Link hidden: Login to view (Please note that I searched outside of SaleHoo, so make sure to use safe payment methods. This one has been online though since 1998). :)

I have seen other sources for wine cages and home winemaking supplies but they all turn out to be retailers.

Will continue trying, and will update you when I see more. :)
