Does anyone know where I can preorder the PS3. I have been looking everywhere, but can not find anything. Please let me know. I am going to be in Costa Rica on my honeymoon when they are released, so I am going to miss out on the opp. Thanks for your help.

Kinda late to preorder. I had 2 suppliers for preorders but there deadline was the Oct. 10. The PS3 were suppose to be delivered a week before they came out in stores direct from Sony. Sorry I did not see this post earlier or I could have helped you

Even when you pre-order your still not guaranteed you will get a unit. Your best bet is to get together with some friends and wait at the doors of your local retail giants like Best Buy, Wal-mart, and Target. I did this on the release date of the Xbox 360 and was able to secure 3 units! Good Luck!

The release date for the PS3 is November 17th and the 19th for the new Nintendo Wii.

tough luck getting on on release thou, espessically if you havent already got a preorder. since you didnt know the release date im assuming you dont know some of the other factors of PS3, sry to be a bit 'patronizing'

-only 400,000 to the US on release. (100,000 for japan, and none for the rest of the world)

-preorders were sold out under a hour due to such small supply

-and it will be US$599 for the 60GB model (lets pretend the 20gb doesnt exist(doesnt have hardly any of the features 60 does))

meanwhile the Wii will have 4 million units worldwide, and preorders sold out after 5-6 hours. price: US$250

I do agree that these products are not for new sellers. You would have needed large amounts of cash to secure some of these products. For new sellers my advice is to stay away from these products. Lots scammers out there know about the shortage and will say they can get the products. It is best to look elsewhere at the moment. If you want a few stand in line at the store.
