Issues on PayPal holds

Hello Everyone,

I've been reading about how PayPal puts holds on your funds for new members on eBay. Is the same true if you have your own website that is not with eBay? How about if your using the PayPal credit card that is linked to your PayPal account?

Hi Alex,

If it's a new PayPal account, then yes. You can even find it happen on well established accounts if red flags are going up on new products that you haven't been selling before. It's not just reserved for new accounts, although they are most likely to be subject to a hold.

Hello Everyone,

I just want to say thank you to Marc Ransom for the helpful information he provided.

Is there another merchant that would not put a hold on your funds? I have a WordPress website with a woo-commerce plugin which has a verity of merchant accounts to choose from, would one of those other merchant accounts be better than Paypal?

Also I want to use a prepaid credit card like the paypal master card to pay for my products, is there one that you would recommend?

Hi Mate,

I Can recommend the payoneer mastercard debit card which can also come with a US Bank Account any money i deposit into my us bank account gets loaded onto my payonner mastercard heres the link to sign up and its free also works with amazon sellers.
