Let's Get something straight!
This is far from a 'get rich quick scheme'. It takes time, money, motivation, being a self-starter, self-learner and above all patience. Selling on Amazon is far from a walk in the park!
Let's dive deeper into what it means to sell on Amazon.
Time: It is something that can be accomplished while maintaining your regular 9 to 5. Much like everything else in life, you will get what you put into it.
Money: There is initial capital required to be able to purchase inventory to resell. Not much, it can be done with as low as $1000 when starting out. Making money by being a merchant on Amazon should be looked upon as a side income. It is NOT going to net you a $100K in the first month. The best way to look at it is you're investing and making your money work better for you.
Example: You have a $1000 that is sitting in your savings account. Ask yourself, how much interest is that money making you in an year? By investing into physical products and buying smart, you are increasing your chances of seeing a potential return on your investment that cannot be given through any money market account.
Motivation: Money isn't everything, but the motivation that drives us to improve our quality of life is everything!
Self-Learning: When selling on Amazon - Make learning a priority, know your business inside and out. The world of e-Commerce changes very fast so make sure that you're staying on top of it.
Execution: This goes hand in hand with learning - One can learn until the cows come home but what good is that knowledge if you're not acting on it?
