How to charge VAT for EU/UK buyers?

Hola folks,

I have a UK registered business and I plan to sell online in EU and UK. I am in the process of setting up my site. I am confused about VAT. Should I just charge 21% VAT on checkout for customers in EU or UK and that would be the end of story. Or is it more complicated than that? Of course, I would be using drop-shippers listed over here.

My next question is: I have a Woocomerce store. If anyone can recommend a plugin for bookkeeping. The idea is to have a clear view of what taxes I need to file and how much I have earned.

In regards to plugins, I have Quickbooks integrated into my Woocommerce platform. I'm sure there would be plenty of options available, maybe just do a google search and you'll dig up plenty of other options.
