Both methods have their pro's and cons, with Wholesale you have to invest x amount of money to buy in x amount of volume to get the goods at a discounted price.
This of course means a cash outlay and room to keep the stock, whereas drop shipping allows you to get into the market with virtually no cash outlay, and not have to store any stock.
Of course the downside to drop shipping is that the margin for profit is not as good as wholesale volume buying, and because it costs virtually nothing to start, it's the most popular platform for new sellers, and that saturates the market with products.
