Dropshipdesign.com - Has anyone dealt with them?

Anyone dealt with Dropshipdesign.com ???

Another of these pay so much and get a web site stocked by them but they also allow dropship for $49 of their products. Margins look reasonable on some items but thought I would check them with Salehoo before going any further.
They seem similar to Stockmysite.com.

Yeah maybe shouls steer clear by the look of it and after reading all.

dropship design look really unprofessional.

I would give it a miss personally.

they are cheaper than most other dropshippers who market like they do.
i see their products being sold on ebay and amazon,maybe not at a great profit,but they can be sold.
i know someone who personally makes 1,000 usd a month just from their perfumes.
It can be done.

www.dropshipdesing.com is a scammer.

I was buy a U.K. plan to dropship and want to order goods to Turkey.

In the FAQ number 5. writes ;

"5. Can I buy your products for myself?

Yes, you can certainly buy any of our products and ship them to your own address as long as you purchase one of our Dropship Packages. "

but If I had buy a plan from U.K. dropship plan on the www.dropshiponauction.co.uk "browse by warehouse" category writes "All items in this page will ship to the U.K. only."

I'm send many mails to them but they say me "If you buy a plan from US dropship then we will send your money"

It is a nonsense.. :(

i use dropshipdesign and they was a good dropshipper with fast respond, i' selling many product with them on ebay ..

I think you may have to read further into their policies about where or to whom they ship. From what I gathered they ship within the US/Canada and UK only- so basically you can be based in anywhere in the world but you need to have customers in the 3 countries mentioned to use Dropshipdesign.com.

Yes you can. You can use search engines such as google to advertise your website in the USA and/or the UK only. Your website will gather buyers from the territory of your choice and DropshipDesign.com will take the orders for you using our very own merchant account. All that we require is that you have your own paypal account so that we can deposit your profits each week. Paypal will take care of converting the currency for you at the time of the deposit.

In the Turkish forums write dropshipdesign can send the goods where ever you are..

It is not a problem for me , when I will more professional on dropship , then I can sell many produtcs from dropshipdesing.com

I've heard a lot of good things about DropShipDesign and I've signed up as a free affiliate to their site. I have my own link they created for me to post for buyers to go to. When the buyers get my link they go to the site and decide to purchase a plan to get started dropshipping. Then when they do purchase, you get a very high commission, but unfortunately you have to wait 30 days to get your commission. Sometimes longer. They are telling me that the buyer is responsible to verify his/her account before they release your commission. For example, I had a buyer purchase a $99.99 package plan and I received a $39.99 commission. I waited 30 days, which was up on 6/15 and I haven't received my commission yet until the buyer verifies his account first. They said it take up to 6 months before the buyer decides to verify his account. That's a negative.
I haven't signed up for a package yet so I can sell on ebay, amazon, etc. I'm waiting to see how it goes with being an affiliate and how many buyers I get. Right now I've posted my ad on ebay, Amazon, Bonanza, sell.com, inetgiant.com and more. I've only got a couple of buyers. Mainly on ebay.
I guess one thing I did get was a negative feedback from a buyer stating that the company link I provided is not good, because my buyer felt that their products are overpriced and not wholesale prices. He did purchase a package plan, but not sure why he felt the products were not wholesale. One thing DropShipDesign told me was that the prices provided are the lowest prices he can get for drop shipping. Not everyone use drop shippers to sell online so we cannot beat every price, especially from people that buy in large bulk. One thing this buyer doesn't understand is dropshipping. So he goes and leaves me a negative feedback on my ebay account. I wasn't expecting that at all.
One thing is they do have a catalog you can browse through to see their products and prices before you sign up for a package. That's a good thing.
I want to know that DropShipDesign is a good legit company and it will work for others too.
Please let me know your thoughts on this and if I'm doing the right thing. I really want to make some extra income whether it be an affiliate or create my own website, which I'm not very good at.

Hi Erin, interesting insight.

The one thing I would say is with prices, the person that complained about the prices not being wholesale is absolutely correct, but no one should be expecting them to be wholesale. What they have to understand is that Dropshipping prices aren't Wholesale prices, they are Dropshipping prices and there is a BIG difference between the two price structures.

Wholesale prices are what you get when you purchase in bulk, because you are spending more on buying more stock, you get a better price then if you were just buying a single item. Of course Dropship prices reflect the fact that you are buying a single item, not bulk, and therefore there is no bulk discount available.

It's one of the biggest misconceptions we see here on the forum, people confusing Dropship prices with Wholesale prices. They look on eBay, see that there is a price there cheaper than a Dropship Supplier and then think the Dropshipper is a ripoff, when in fact what they are doing is looking at a seller on eBay who has purchased in large volume and, got a great per unit price and is then most likely selling at a reduced margin to create quick turnover.

It might be worth drawing people's attention to that if you have the same issue again.

I changed a few things in my ad on ebay. I took your advice and posted some of your suggestions within my ad. One thing I'm alittle afraid of is reading all of the opinions and advice from others on this forum about dropshipdesign is they are some are negative and some are positive about the company. They say steer clear of it, the prices are extremely high. Some are using it and some aren't. They say they paid to drop ship through them and their customers are complaining about the products. Some say the products are cheap and chitzy. Some didn't get their products they ordered. The support is not good. They are not making a profit after listing the products online. Some are.
I'm so confused as to whether or not I should go forward with this or not. I haven't signed up myself yet. All I did was become a free affiliate and they created my own link to refer others to the website. I am so tired of finding out the I found a drop ship company that I can be a part of to sell products and make a profit, but then found out that others are experiencing a lot of negative results with them. I don't know what to do here.
One ebay seller I ran into experienced more buyers signing up and he has no complaints about them. He said he got about 20 buyers that are using dropshipdesign and they are successful with this. Others say no. I'm the one that found his ebay list and bought it for 99 cents and he provided his link to the website to sign up. Like I said I haven't signed up and paid for a package plan yet. I'm alittle hesitate about it. I asked him if I could use the same ad to list on my account to do the same thing and he said no problem. I tweeked it alittle. I've only got a few people that signed up and paid. I haven't made a true profit yet, because dropshipdesign holds onto your commission for 30 days and the buyer has to verify their account for your commission to go to your paypal account. Sometimes it could take up to 6 months to get your commission. I don't like that at all.
Please let me know what you think about this and if you have any suggestions as to whether I should go forward with this or find another drop shipping company that is better and has better reviews? I've read all the links on the forum about dropshipdesign and most of them are negative. Someone said it can be done. I just want to find a way to start an online business that's easy to do and I can make a profit doing. I've been searching for something for a long time.

Hi Erin,

Never be afraid of others opinions, I know it might be confusing trying to weigh up all of the information, but far better to have a lot of feedback than none at all. You have to remember that people are speaking of their own experiences in most cases and that doesn't mean it's everyone's experience, but it shouldn't mean that you just ignore it either.

Just take all the information and weight it all up for what it is and base your decision on that.

Btw, in regards to affiliate programs. Do you know that SaleHoo also offers an affiliate program, so maybe that is something you should also consider : )

Thank you for your input, opinion and advice. I don't want to give up, but I don't want to risk the negative feedback through ebay. I don't have enough feedback in my account on ebay to lose all of it just because of someone's negative opinion and leaving it with the seller, which is me. I've been trying to research and reading all I can about dropshipdesign. I even expressed my opinion to the DSD support team and told them what I read from others about them.

Here is what they said: "You have to be careful what you read online. We have been in business since 2004 and we process orders every day. Of course human errors can happen sometimes and warehouses can ship the wrong product but as you can see we answer all support ticket within 24 hours."

I want to do the right thing and find a drop ship company that I can do that will be good for me, so I can make some money here. I heard a lot about being an affiliate. DSD had an opportunity to become a free affiliate and I signed up for that. I haven't signed up for a package plan yet. I told them I was alittle hesitate to do so after what I heard and read. Do you blame me?

Also, I would like to know what your thoughts are on the drop ship companies you have listed on SaleHoo called BioCleanse and All Natural Cosmetics 4U? I sent an email to them to get approved to become an affiliate and maybe sell their products. BioCleanse did approve me and told me how to create links. I posted one product they had on ebay already. They only have 4 products they offer. The affiliate/reseller gets a 15% commission if they sell their products. What do you think?
Also, All Natural Cosmetics 4U haven't approved me yet as an affiliate, The reason is because they want you to try their products first. So they offer a free sample of whatever you want. I ordered a free sample. Once I get it, I need to let them know what I think. Looks like they might be good. What do you think of that one?
