I am looking for a dropshipper to let me sell products on ebay and one that has the product description and pics and won't want to charge me a fee to become a reseller.

Hi roychattelle,

If you compare eBay prices for electronics versus the prices offered by the suppliers’ website, it will not show chances for you to profit, because the reality is that most of the sellers at eBay are wholesale suppliers themselves, or have sourced them from liquidation.

A lot of people are under the impression that electronics is a highly profitable market. Unfortunately, this simply isn't true. Electronics is actually one of the most competitive markets online. The electronics industry has always run on very low margins from wholesalers to end users and marketplaces like eBay have only tightened the margins even further.

Most electronics sell at the wholesale price or below wholesale on eBay. That's how intense the competition is.

If you really would like to pursue selling electronics, then we suggest that you
* Increase your feedback and become a Powerseller BEFORE entering the electronics market.
* Sell through your own website or your eBay store
* Add third-party extras and up-sells to your orders.
* Or sell accessories for electronics rather than electronics themselves.

We can help gather suppliers for you, let us know if you have decided on a product to work on. :)

Hi Roy,

Welcome to SaleHoo, nice to have you with us!

Irene has pointed out the harsh reality of eBay and selling electronic products there, unfortunate as it may seem but that's how tough it is to crack the niche you have chosen :(

Do you have any hobbies? You could from there - Many people may share the same hobby as yours and most hobbyist are more than willing to spend for their hobbies which may make it seem like an ideal niche to try.
And whether online or offline it is often easier to succeed in something that we enjoy or have passion for.

Hope this helps a bit :)

Hi Roy,

I understand how you feel right now and I have read so many posts from other members who are in the same place you're at.

You have to understand that eBay has become an extremely competitive marketplace and it is not uncommon to find products selling at prices the same as or lower than wholesale. If you haven't noticed, many wholesalers sell on eBay directly to the public! And honestly, I think the listing you pointed out in you post fits this exact scenario.

Plus the products you are looking at selling falls under one of the most competitive markets online. So its like double jeopardy - selling electronics on eBay as a newbie would be really tough!

So, what can you do about it?

* Order in bulk quantities to drive the wholesale price down
* Sell on another auction site other than eBay – there are heaps to choose from and profit margins are usually better. Craigslist is also a good place to sell if you live in the USA. For more options please visit this post - Link hidden: Login to view
* Buy liquidation – this lets you get product for pennies on the dollar. This is how lots of powersellers make money on eBay these days)
* Find a niche market with few competitors – collectibles and one-off items have amazing profit margins, even on eBay.

These days, you have to be pretty savvy to survive on eBay. Hope this helps :)

Hi Brackson,

Sorry but after searching for a couple of hours I was not able to find any suppliers that seemed reliable. Also, I think you will need a doctor's prescription to get one unless you become an authorized distributor.

But just in case, you might want to check out this one - Link hidden: Login to view

All the best!
