I wonder if anyone has experience drop shipping with a jewelry supplier Don Biu? I contacted them via e-mail abaout drop shipping their products and they didn't found that idea comfortable. Is there any chance that they are not considering third party drop shipping as a one of their sales channels?

Hi Dinko and welcome to the forum,

I'll pass this on to support for follow up with this supplier as we aren't aware of any changes to their normal drop-sipping service.

Mark this thread Dinko,

I've passed this onto support and Shane is going to follow up with this supplier to confirm. Once she hears back, she'll update this thread with the information and if needed, will also update the supplier's details in the directory also.

Cheers

Hi Dinko,

Yes, we have just received some clarification regarding the drop-shipping. They are still providing the drop-shipping service, but are only releasing limited accounts so as to not over saturate the market and effect their existing account holders. So new account applicants are subject to meeting their qualifying criteria to be accepted.

While we didn't go into details about your application, they have stated that applications that don't meet their criteria will be rejected, so it looks like for whatever reason, you're application has just been rejected by them at this point.

They also told us that they will soon be releasing a new line of products and more account opportunities will then be available. So it might be worth while seeing if they will notify you directly when those new accounts be come available and you may have better luck with them at that point.

On point the seller made in their response is that they aren't keen on taking on any more eBay sellers. So that may well have been the reason for rejecting your application if that was your intended market place. A word of caution to other interested members as well regarding this supplier, eBay seems to be off the list for now, the supplier is quite happy with the current account holders who are servicing eBay.

I can't say I'm not disappointed. They must put which qualifying criteria someone should satisfy to become their partner on their web page or SaleHoo description.

Thank you Mark.

Hi Dinko,

We've had that exact discussion with them and will be making changes to their profile that reflects their account limitations to clarify for members. I'm sorry we weren't made aware of it prior to your incident, it's certainly something I feel we should have been made aware of ourselves.
