Hey!
I am completely new to this so wondering if anyone can tell me how to start? How do I get in touch with dealers and what to write to them?

Regards Mina from Norway

Hello Mina,

Welcome to SaleHoo :

Being new I would suggest going through our New User Manual which you can find in our Link hidden: Login to view section, simply scroll down the to the 6th one.

Another really helpful group of information is this forum thread on What to ask dropshippers - Link hidden: Login to view

How do you contact dropshippers or other suppliers for that matter starts with you doing your research. Research the type of products you are going to sell and search for suitable suppliers to use. You make use of our Research Labs to help you find profitable niches and our directory to help you locate the right suppliers.

Once you have narrowed down y our search then its time to contact your suppliers by either sending them an email or by calling them.

Hope this helps!

one more thing, to introduce myself selling at Salehoo?
Thus I will be the intermediary for them to customers?
This is probably stupid to ask but is good to be sure of what to write in a mail ..

One comment I would make here. When you are contacting a prospective drop shipper/supplier be sure to sign your name AND company name at the bottom of the email. I am simply amazed at the number of emails I get from people asking a question and then ..... no name, no company name. It usually goes like.... " Hi, how can I buy from you " or " Hi, please send me your current price list .... " . If you are reaching out to a business you need to present yourself as a business. I think the responses you get will be much better. This seems like common sense but it happens a lot.

I would say at least sign your name but really if you are going to have a business then you should have a company name. It just looks better and I think will get you more attention from the prospective supplier. I've had my business for over 20 years now and I can tell you that even after all this time, when I try to get something started with a new supplier it is very difficult. I send email with name, title, company name/address, website all the details and it is still hard sometimes to get attention. You would think it would not be like that but I think companies get so many emails that you really need to put your best foot forward on the first contact and sound as professional as possible. But that is just my opinion and others may have different results, Thanks, Rich

@Rich of compgallery Thanks for replying to Mina. It's refreshing to hear from the suppliers to see what would make every transaction or inquiry a lot smoother for them and the customer.

Cheers!
