Hi,

I want a dropshipper/supplier who doesn't do credit checks. Doesn't need a license for me to sell. That's also free to dropship for me! Blind drop ships! Plus, doesn't outsource me to other people who actually have the products. Plus 0-100 minimum on purchase amounts. Oh yes and free to register for an account and no monthly fees aside from what you take out of shipping and those percentages that you charge!

I'm wanting Louis Vuitton and all the high brand names! Authentic! No knock offs!

Hi Teresa,

We understand your concerns and we will do our best to address it.

When it comes to extremely popular branded items like Apple iPhones and iPads, Nike shoes, Louis Vuitton handbags, Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Chanel, Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Burberry, Versace, Ferre Milano, Hermes, Miu Miu, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, and Salvatore Ferragamo, a lot of people want to buy these products in wholesale lots straight from the manufacturer and resell them.

And we understand this. Products like this are extremely popular. Branded products like Apple iPhones often have so much demand, that that demand can at times outstrip supply. And so it makes sense right: If you can get branded items like that, then you could easily make money.

Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work that way. Lots and lots of other people have thought about this too, and they want to sell these items as well. The manufacturers of these items are very, very selective of which stores they will sell direct to and who they will allow to distribute their products. In some cases, they will only let brick and mortar stores become official resellers of their product.

Why are brand owners very selective of their distribution channels
1. It lets them control and protect their brand.
2. It lets them control the price of their products.

Coming back to our example of Apple products, like iPhones. To become a distributor, and buy items at a discounted rate for resale purposes, you would need to contact Apple directly and follow their application process to become an official distributor. Some of their requirements include requiring a business license and a general liability insurance certificate. In the past, Apple were so strict they made their minimum order $100,000!

The same applies to other branded products too, like Nike shoes. To buy official Nike shoes at "wholesale rates" you would need to become an official distributor for Nike.

We hope you now understand why you can't use SaleHoo to find extremely popular branded items at wholesale prices let alone dropshipping.
