Hi All,

I had been selling on Ebay for a couple of years so I kindle very familiar with Ebay selling. I usually got my stuff from Fleamarket, I would like to start an online business.

1. I would like to start out with some good electronics supplier to sell on Ebay to improve my knowledge on drop shipper.
2. Currently, I have followed the lab to look for some drop shipper vendor but did not find any. Cause every time I found and item checked on Ebay the price almost the same, there would be no profit at all or even a lost from eBay and PayPal fee.
3. Registered with Saveinstant.com website but could not download the product feed or image or get price information.
4. Would you please help or guide me to where I could find a reliable vendor and drop shipper that I could make some profit out of the sale.
5. Currently also working on a website to start my online business as well but no vendor right now, so I'm kindle stuck.
4. Does anybody familiar with sunrise wholes? I don't mind paying a monthly fee as long as I could make a profit out of a sale.

Thank you very much in advance for any help and support or guide.

Hi Thomas and welcome to the forum,

1. In relation to electronics, that genre encompasses a lot of products. Is there any specific electronics field you are most interested in?

2. In general, electronics is a very high turnover market on eBay and high turn over markets are traditionally hard for drop-shippers to deal in. The problem you'll find in a high turnover is that they attract the cashed up sellers and that means you won't just be competing against drop-shippers, you'll be mostly trying to compete against wholesale buyers and in some cases, actual wholesalers using eBay to sell direct to the public, so drop-shippers will usually find they are easily out-gunned in high turnover markets.

3. Have you contacted the supplier themselves regarding the issues you are having with their site?

4. This gets back to point 1 and 2 really. We would need to narrow down your products to focus our search and if you are wanting to use a drop-shipping model to compete in a high turnover market, then you may well be asking for the impossible in that case. It's really difficult to say without really having far more details.

5. Kudos for getting work done on your own site, that to me is what you need to be ultimately successful in this online game. It's not always the smart way to go to start off, unless you have some good cash-flow and a good marketing plan to unroll, but it's certainly a step in the right direction.

I'm not at all familiar with sunrise wholes I'm afraid, can you give more details?

Sorry, Sunrise Wholesale. The "wholes" threw me lol

I can't really add anything personally as I have never personally dealt with them. I'll follow up with support to check their record for you as soon as the office opens on Monday morning and get back to you on that one

In regards to products, I haven't studied the market at all, so I couldn't suggest any products off hand. You mention that that lab is giving you results that you can't find suppliers cheap enough to allow you to compete.

Can you tell me what type of products you are searching for in the lab? .

Cheers

Hi Thomas,

No feedback I can pass on at all, we've had no issues reported to us by members, just as we've had no positive feedback either. Of course we don't usually hear positive reviews, it's usually if a member is experiencing an issue that we will hear anything.

Cheers

It depends on what specifically you want to sell and how fast you need them. You can always find anything on Alibaba. There are usually minimum order quantites though. Those are actual manufacturers, not drop shippers so you would need to order the product(say 10 dvd players for example) and have them shipped to you, and then when someone buys one from you on eBay, you ship it to them. You will get the best prices from manufacturers 1st, then suppliers/wholesalers 2nd, and then drop shippers 3rd. Drop shippers might not have a minimum because they are drop shipping so they know you are filling 1 piece orders most of the time.

Wholesalers will have minimums also, but usually much less than a supplier. If you decide to check out Alibaba, ONLY DEAL WITH "GOLD SUPPLIERS!" There are a lot of scammers on there too, so only gold suppliers so you know they're legitimate. You can always negotiate price and minimum orders with manufacturers on Alibaba as well. Keep in mind, most of the time the products are made in China so if you get delivery coming by cargo ship, it will be about a month before your order gets to you. You can also ship by air, but it's more expensive.

Also, if you need anything in China: a specific product, or brand, or suppliers, you can check out ETO.cn. They have a ton of very valuable services to get you whatever you need from China manufacturers. Good luck.

P.S.- Electronics don't have great margins, and eBay selling prices are typically less than Amazon's. You can sell at a higher price on Amazon, and Amazon buyers don't care they will buy it. They usually aren't price conscious buyers. They know what they want, they are ready to buy, and they buy it from Amazon because it's much more trusted in most people's eyes than eBay. Even though both are mainly made up of 3rd party sellers.
