Selling from Italy

Hi guys,
I'm Giacomo and I'm a new member from Italy. I'm totally new in this business, I've my traditional work but I'm very fascinated by this world and I wanna try this. I'm studing a lot and my idea was to open a Shopify store, but on SaleHoo I'm reading that the most suggested thing here is to work with Ebay or Amazon.
Anyone can give me some advice before starting, please?
And then, there is any other Italian here who can tell me his experience selling from Italy?
