What started out like a $67 membership became $200 and nothing to show for it. I added the $20 add on they offered and after i paid another offer came. A $99 guide which i don't even know how to access. Then I started searching SaleHoo's suppliers and they all seem to be retailers with prices that match and exceed store prices.

Thank you for the help. I have now accessed these programs? or whatever they are and it seems that the information that they are posting are the same things i find here at salehoo. But thats ok doesnt hurt to read things a couple times over. The products im currently looking for are urban wear such as rocawear, Ecko, Enyce and such. Also sneakers such as jordans, Nikes, Adidas and so fourth. Ive already gone through the database and have found sites such as Icedoutgear.com and hiphopbille.com. These sites i have already discovered before joining salehoo as retail shops and still believe they are retail shops. Hopefully like the reviews and other forum posts states i will get my moneys worth through the information i learn from the community here. :)

You know what, The more I browse through salehoo directores looking for suppliers, the more I realize they're all retailers. They have auctions on ebay offering items at a price that is equal to what there selling to us 'retailers'. So, we are competing against our suppliers. Guess who's gonna win. :)

It still seems like new members are quick to judge what they dont understand. And immediatley start complaining when things dont appear the way they thought it was supposed to be.

Did you ever think that if you cant find the prices you want its because there are no deals in that area your searching. Many people think they can buy a membership to this site. Find a supplier within a few hours and point a click themselves to instant riches. This is just not possible. The most successfull of us work 100+ hours a week just to make ends meet yet many of you think that your going to work part time a few hours selling 1 or 2 different products, and make a ton of money.

Many of you believe that wholesale is 50%-70% below retail. This is completely wrong. Generally wholesale prices can be 10% to 30% of retail. But thats only based on what products you choose to buy wholesale.

When you join the salehoo community you will learn real fast that wholesale suppliers are a joke if your an ebay seller. Wholesale supliers are there for the retailers only not the ebay seller.

Try reading the many guides myself and other members have posted in all the forums in the form of stickys.
You can learn what methods of buying and selling are mosre profitable. You will learn what items to steer clear of that will guarantee you quick failure.

You will learn alot about how to deal with suppliers listed in our database. You can also learn that to get the best deals you need to contact these suppliers independantly and haggle yourself some good prices. Many of these suppliers are small suppliers that just buy in bulk to get deals. They will give you a deal if you can move thier stock.

I havent been to evey site listed in salehoo and I dont think I ever will. But I have been to many very good sites and have made personally alot of money buying items from sites listed on salehoo. Ive done reviews on a ton of sites and ask for personal priceslists and offered to buy in bulk and have recieved prices way better then offered on thier sites alone.

The supplier I Buy truckloads from is located on salehoo as well.

Now this may sound harsh and I dont mean to be rude but 99% of the people that take the trial and get thier refund without proper research and study might as well give up and go back to thier 9-5 job. Because with that mentality you prove to us that you are a person that does not belong in this buisness. You would be better off leaving this work to the professionals.

You can get your refund and buy every membership to every site on the internet and you will never find good deals because in reality you have no idea what your doing or what you need to do to succeed.

Or you can ask questions. Read the guides. Ask more questions. Read even more posts. Do more research and learn from members that are succeeding and find tips and tricks and suppliers that can generate you profits. The forums alone are more valuable then any resource you can find.

Bottom line dont be quick to judge.

Hello Salehoo and to Jimmy. I would like to say taht I have been a member for about 1-2 years and I have read and reread your articles and postings and looked up suppliers from a-z. I have come across many and forgot many. Well with all that said I made an additional $2500 for x-mas just this past week and a half. Thank you salehoo well worth the membership price. God Bless and Merry Christmas to all.
Never give up.

Well, I can understand the short tempered response to us newbies... But although I have seen some great deals for people living in the US or indeed northern America. Have to say, havent really seen anything too great for us down in Australia. Regardless, a few phone calls and hours on my own trying to figure things out should prove fruitful.

I luckily bought into Salehoo on the christmas offer and I gotta say, this site seems more of a general philosophical mentoring program for those of us living outside of the Northern American continent. I'll agree that Salehoo must make the best advertising campaign possible, and so some people may have unrealistic expectations... But if you put a disclaimer *doesn't include shipping and taxes* on the ad's might not get quite so many people on board.

I expect the journey into this business to be long and arguous and I'm not going to even contemplate selling seriously at the moment, until I've done a bit of reading on my tax requirements. I didn't expect people to reveal their sources willy-nilly to every passerby, but this site actually does reveal a nice little sum of suppliers. Whilst I don't expect to buy at 30% of rrp, a 30% profit margin would be nice, but on items like electronics, probally more likely to expect single digit profit margins I guess.

If there's anyone out there willing to help out a new guy in Sydney, and knows what its like to deal in Australia any advice would be appreciated.

(Sorry if I'm being a bit too forward, but unfortunately, I think I may be just a bit too keen and eager here, so I might get a shade too involved and overexcited.)

I myself have actually considered exporting products to Austrailia, Austria and other Countries that have problems aquiring stock just as a means of someone starting a distribution company in thier country to members of salehoo and just in general for people wishing to find wholesalers. By using my company as an export distribution center for container loads.

But that would although require someone with capitol ,property and ability to store, inventory and distibute products to sellers in that country.

It would be good especially since the dollar is down so much if someone had the ability. I have the ability to store a few truckloads in my warehouse. And have considered doing this aside from my normal operations as a means for some quick turnover on some large loads of products.

I would only have to inventory the products, pack them into containers and have them thrown on a cargo ship.

It is a sad situation where most of these countries do not have listed local wholesalers as most buy the products themselves for thier stores only. They dont know the potential they could have if they were the big wholesale distributer for thier country.
