Hi guys,

Any member here from the Philippines? I was just wondering if there's anybody who is willing to share buying wholesale stuff to save money. I have no particular item yet in mind as I am a newbie here. Maybe we can talk it over and see what we can agree on.

Send me a PM if you like the idea.

Thank you!

Hi a to z,

Found a bunch of suppliers here and there but not really sure what's best to sell. Also, budget is one of my concerns... got anything in mind? Also, are we the only 2 here from PH?

:)

Hi,

I'm Thai and my wife is PH so I'm considered having half relationship with PH. I'm starting out small drop-ship or export. My main products are handmade items i.e. bags, and home decoration items. Yes, I'd like to build up networking with bulk buyers who want Thai products. Stay in touch if I can be any help.

all the best, mo

Come on you guys from Phil, how about digging up some local items unique to your country to supply those in other areas with something unique to sell.

You have to have this type of stuff at your finger tips, and while it may well look a bit every day to you, it can be quite unique in other parts of the world.

Even if you didn't want to wholesale it to others, look locally for unique products that can create good solid international retail selling opportunities.

That's an advantage that many others don't have, so we're all stuck selling the same bottle openers as everyone else. Some would give their right arm for something unique to sell, and it's in places like Phil that products like that can be unearthed.

Footnote: just in case you do like the idea of supplying locally made products to members to sell, just make sure you register to become a verified seller first lol

Hello, I am an american who married a Filipina and have lived both in Luzon and Mindanao Philippines for about 8 years. Prior to this I had been coming to the Philippines on and off since 1973. I primarily import electronics to the Philippine markets. I have dabbled a little in local products for exporting to US markets. I like fudij's post about starting social groups and I agree totally. So all you members out there that live in the Philippines, lets do it !!! Can you imagine the wealth of information we can share with each other and share also with our fellow Salehoo members around the world. Who knows we may even surpass other countries in this global import/export business.

Hi gritsinter and welcome to SaleHoo, nice to have you on board.

Let's hope we can get some like minded members as yourself together from different areas, and get something happening. Absolutely no doubt that networking in business is a great way to build and succeed because you are using the power of many, not just your own avenues and ideas.

The potential is there, we just need to find a few members to get together to start a ball rolling, then others would jump on for sure and who knows where it would lead.

Fingers crossed X

I'm new here in salehoo. I'm a filipino but currently working in Saudi Arabia. I will be home in the philippines by october. I like the idea of getting local products to the international market. I was hoping to bring products from suppliers overseas to the philippines but the opposite seems to be more profitable since native items in the philippines are cheaper. When i get home il be looking for items to introduce to the international market. Wish me luck.

Hi dyasper, welcome to the crew : )

I wish you all the luck in the world in the venture, we need new avenues for members to explore in regards to sourcing new and exciting products, I wish more members from around the world would do the same.

It wouldn't just create opportunities for members to source products, but could well be creating a solid business enterprise for the suppling members who take advantage of their local products.

When you do get home and start to get established, contact us in regards to becoming an authorised supplier, and we will forward that information to you, and hopefully create a win win situation for everyone.

: )

Hi Marc,

Actually, even before I joined salehoo I had ideas on this kind of venture. I already have plans for places where I can get good items that I think will be good for the international market. Last month I started to talk to friends who are more into traveling and had gone to places around the philippines. They gave me ideas on where to get good items. I hope this turns out well. I will contact you guys when everything is settled on my end.

Thanks!

No problems at all dyasper, sounds like it is full steam ahead for you. So good luck, and we'll look forward to receiving your application to become a verified seller some where in the near future : )

Hopefully you can inspire others from different countries to also explore this type of business avenue, and create some opportunities for others as well.
