Hi Mayra,

It's kind of a catch 22 situation with eBay, you need competitive prices to attract sales. Now of course there are other factors that play into successful eBay selling, but price is right at the top. So with eBay, it's not just about driving traffic to your listings, it's about being able to convert that traffic into sales.

Can you send me a link to one of your listings and then also send me a link to one of your competitors listings as well please

OK, two issues I can see

The first, and possibly the big one that is causing the problem is the feedback. A score of 3 at 33% will be a massive red flag to buyers, especially when you are up against a seller with a score of 12,675 @ over 99%

That's a seriously big issue for you. My suggestion would be to start a new account altogether, it's just too much hard work to try and save that account and given that it is only a new one anyway, just not worth trying to save. Set up a new account and start fresh. 0 feedback will be better than what you currently have.

I think your return policy seems a little confusing, I would look at simplifying that for customers. That's needs to be concise, much shorter and better defined.

The other issue that I would look at is shipping. Even though you are still coming in cheaper than your competitor with their shipping combined deal, it's the illusion of the FREE SHIPPING that can attracts customers because they feel like they are getting something free. If you switch up to combining your shipping with the item, you will still be about $5.00 cheaper than them and you too can be FREE SHIPPING

I think the listing itself is OK, good description, but another thing that may be adding to the hurt is the lack of other products. Quite a lot of customers will click to see what else you have for sale, but then they see nothing. Combine that with the poor feedback and it's not a good look at all, and then judging you against your competitor you come off looking even worse.

Start again and consider the other points I made would be my best suggestion. You don't need to list a lot of items, but I always suggest having at least 10 items listed. It gives you a better chance of sales, but more importantly, it makes you look like a more respectful seller and not someone just dumping some left over old stock that doesn't work anymore.

Hi Malva. The above is right. Give up that Ebay account,and start new. My tip to you. On the new account, type in the search box, "Penny Auctions"
Go there and buy at least 20 items for as low as 1 penny. That will get you at least 20 feedback's if everyone gives a feedback. Do this before you try selling anything. when buying put a note asking they give you a positive feedback. You need 100% positive feedback's. Before you try to sell.
With a 33% feedback I doubt if anyone would buy from you. Good Luck.

Hi Mayra,

eBay suspended all accounts because of the standing the account was in. Your feedback, two negs out of three transactions, running at 33% is considered by eBay to be substandard and the account was put on review. You won't be able to open a new account until the review has been completed and they open access to you once more.

Ebay are going to have a Spanish speaking consultant call you to work with you on the review, it just might take them a day or so.

Previously I had written to ebay regarding the two negative feedback because it was unfair and never received a reply. If you will look at the other ratings are positive reviews. One of the negative vote was in error the buyer and the other was the buyer was unfair, a revision was made and I win the case..

Hi Mayra,

You have to be really careful using email with eBay, I know there is a language issue in your case, but eBay quite often over look emails. You can probably imagine the amount they get, so many just do not get serviced. I did discuss the feedback situation being that one was in error at least and while they noted that, I have no power to overturn it. Of course this will be what you go through with the consultant when they call.

All they really want is to make sure you're quite genuine, explain to the consultant that you are new (I have told them that, but go through it with them again) They will ask who your suppliers are and then verify that they are safe to deal with. There shouldn't be any reason not to have the review go in your favour at all. The one thing you will find with ebay is that once you have established contact with a consultant over the phone, they will actually do what they can to help you, they're not there to close your account, they're there to save it for you.

Ebay was unfair to me, ebay sent me a message about it comunicaraon me and never got a call from them. Then I get this another message which says cancellation of account indefinitely. I have always paid their bills ebay. Check it owed ​​something and the account appears in $ 0.0, I do not owe anything and neither a buyer.

If you contact the customer support through there you will be able to communicate with a Spanish speaking consultant and you can then have your case reviewed.
