They are extremely useful,
Keyword Researcher generates keywords from Google auto complete. You know that think when you start to time letters into Google, and it completes your words for you.. that sometimes creepy thing. Ya that thing, it pulls Keywords from there. These are often keywords not in Google Keyword Tool data sets yet.
Long Term Keyword just allows you to easily organize it, hook up with Moz, and see how hard it is to rank keywords.
