New to SaleHoo - help needed with my research

Hello Everybody,

My name is Ryan and I'm new to SaleHoo. I am currently off work due to an injury and thought I would take full advantage of that time and do a little research into the online marketing world. I have to admit my search is not begging here. I began my journey to you by signing up for a 14day trial with Doba and was severely disappointed with my experience there. My expectations were high with dollar signs in my eyes, who doesn't like easy money, however due to high E Bay and pay pal fees I made a very small profit in my time there. Unwilling to surrender to failure I set off searching for a better site and am pleased to now call SaleHoo my home. Salehoo has drastically overshot my expectations, I have learned more here in one day than I ever could have in month trolling Internet sites. I am glad to have found a home among people who are so willing to share their success and point me in the right direction. I am sure to fulfill my quest for knowledge here, and increasing my financial situation in the process.

It's great to hear your enthusiasm about researching e-Commerce (and getting started!). It's a great way to spend your time while you are recovering from your injury. There's a lot to learn in the beginning, but once you get started it's so much fun and slightly addictive - whenever I take a break from selling online I really miss it!

Many sellers who start out on eBay get the same results as you did: Little to no profits due to fees and heavy competition.

I'm glad you asked about eBay alternatives in your other post because the truth is, while eBay is a great place for new sellers to learn the basics about online retail, it can be a bit cut-throat when it comes to making a decent profit. So do take a look at some of the marketplaces I mentioned.
