New to the online retail world

My name is james from illinois and i am a 20 year old single father of an adorable little girl. my girlfriend and i live together with my daughter and she works but i have not been able to get into the workforce due to my juvenile record. i have always wanted to be my own boss and i love researching and selling products. i have always had a business mentality and decided to test my skills online. i have an ein number and am currently waiting for my sales tax confirmation. i applied roughly 2 days ago online so hoping to get that soon. i am a complete noobi to dropshipping and have been trying figure out all i can but any kind of help/information would be great! gthanks again and hopefully everything works out!
