Hi,

I'm new to this, Could anyone give me words of advise with regards to what to buy, to sell on? What not to go for? I am open minded at the moment of what to purchase.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks.
Waldo

Hehe, I've seen this question asked before. LOL - What are you interested in? You really need to have something you are interested in selling - then search for the best supplier .....

As you can see, electronics sell very well on ebay, and well anything designer brand, but mostly everyone is selling ... try to be unique and figure out something everyone is in need of. I know it's hard, you might even want to browse ebay a bit. See what's doing good and what isn't.

With me, it was my interest. Toddler clothing, and ladies handbags!! :)

I agree with mslily, the best things to do, are things you are interested in.

Another tip would be to find a market before you go searching for your bargains. Even if you find a really cheap deal on something, it's going to be useless unless it sells, so look for stuff that is selling, but has little competition, or you know of somewhere where you could get the item cheaper.

Also, DO NOT GET GREEDY. This is a big first time mistake. Even if you only make a few dollars profit, it is still profit, and the experience is invaluable.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Tom

You can also look on ebay pulse to see what some of the new trends r at the moment. I also get consumer reports and other magazines to help keep me informed on new and upcoming products. I agree that selling items that you are interested in and know something about is a good starting point. My business partner didn't know what to seel either we went entered the online marketplace. The person was interested in photography and looked into digital camers. My business partner now buys bulk shipments of camers and other related items and sells them online and offline.

If u dunt have anything that u r interested in....
