Ways to track inventory for profit/loss/tax purposes

Currently I am using an Excel spreadsheet to log my sales and inventory across eBay and Amazon but I could imagine there has got to be software similar to Quickbooks that is tailored more towards eCommerce. What do you actual business-owners/sellers use to track your inventory and sales for profix/loss/tax purposes?

i know of my business i have software that tracks my prices of my items and stock levels so if price changes then it changes price so i make a profit or if an item is out of stock removes item listing so i dont mak a loss.
