Hi there

I was wondering if anyone has used this company to ship goods from China? They are a helluva lot cheaper than using TNT, UPS etc but I'm a bit skeptical about using a Chinese company, all the way to New Zealand. Could you please give any feedback?

Thanks alot, I'm new to this :)

Alicia,
NZ

EMS is an international partnership (China, USA, HK, Japan, Aus).
They are cheaper, but slower than DHL/TNT/FedEX.
But are more expensive, but quicker than normal postal services.
So i find them ideal.

:?: Has anyone used the China Postal Service? I know they are slower, but how cheep are they. If I buy in small quanties will they get through customs easier. There are tons of cheep stuf on the China page but after reading the Customs page, I'm a little worried about even trying to by from there.

It looks like the things you can locate in the US are not that cheep, therefore not much profit to be made.

I'm in New Zealand and i have good contact in China who provides efficient EMS service with 20%-40% off of the official EMS price. Currently the offical EMS shipping cost from CHN to AUS is 210 chinese yuan per kilo and 55 yuan for additional 500g.

please check out the price from ems official website.

[Link no longer available]

Our discounted EMS price also apply to other countries as well, such as USA, Japan, New Zealand ect. And we may provide ocean shipping. Price is negotiable

If you are interested, you can email me to Link hidden: Login to view cheers.

i have lived in china for years, the china post works if your send via sea, for air, it will be sent through ems anyways, in reality it is the same company, they are both govt owned. the difference is ems is open to most countries, and is a lot cheaper vs, dhl ups ect. they charge by the jin or 500 grams. you have to find a shipper that combines shiping and doesn't charge you for each item.

I have used EMS and I do appreciate them, they are a good service and are very reliable for the most part since I'm not going to be silly and say they are completely reliable.

I don't believe that anything is. But they do the job, they do work.

And accordingly to that fact, what I really prefer about EMS is working with them directly after establishing a good relationship with my supplier. Most suppliers from China will offer EMS optional, and it is a good service for that.

But it varies from supplier to supplier, and if you don't have a trust built up with that supplier, I would not bother using the EMS. I'd use something else or ship it to yourself and then ship it on.

This industry depends on the cornerstone of you and your supplier. Every supplier is going to be different, they vary, and some are very bad.

Some are very good, and you want to make a connection with the very good ones, and keep them. Help them out and help yourself, that's the key I guess to the game.

That's simple. Order by EMS, have your supplier help you get it past customs. They send it to you regardless I found out, that is legal, and you can still receive most anything.
