Hi,
I was thinking about selling supplements on ebay. E.g all the body building supplements like protein and creatine etc. How would i go about importing that kind of stuff into Australia? I've been told that protein can't be imported due to something relating to the fact it contains eggs. Yet its still in stores so how do they get it in?

Also, if its coming through customs, won't that mean that customs will open every package? And if they break the seal on the package then won't that make my products look less authentic?

Any advice will be appreciated, thanks

hi aushy
try and source the product here it will save on importing it in and you don't have to worry about customs. Try and talk to some of the gyms in your area and see where they get there goods from and look at wholesalers here that deal with supplements.
cheers

A lot of the products are only made in USA and I cannot find prices which are even remotely close to that in the US. I've contacted a couple australian supplement companies and expressed my interest in becoming a reseller. So if I was going to import supplements into Australia, do I need some kind of import or reseller license?
