Through your site I found suppliers who can help me develop my business. My problem is with the import. I am a reseller and wholesaler (clothing for men, women, shoes, bags, accessories, jewelry...) in Africa (Ivory Coast). The U.S. market is really a source of supply for me.

On the website of various wholesale cost of transport is very high (UPS, EMS...) the most expensive shoes boxes. My solution is to group the orders in one place (a unique address in U.S.) and after transport to the Ivory Coast. I'm looking for a carrier in U.S. which can group and Deliver to my country by air freight (about 2 Deliver by month). And especially find the minimum weight the most profitable.

I need your suggestions or advice please.
Thank you!

Hi Cello,

There are several companies that can consolidate and forward your US purchases to Ivory Coast, but then you will have to evaluate if the fees are reasonable enough for you. They will provide the extra service of keeping your goods in safety, consolidating them for a scheduled delivery and consequently providing a valid US address that you can exclusively use for your purchases.

Check on the following sites to explore these possibilities. They also give useful information about sending goods to Africa.

Hi cello,

I haven't personally used viadress.com. I can see from whois domain check that the website is just recently created, February of last year 2009, though you may use Paypal as a secure payment method.

However, there were several negative feedbacks about them that I found online Link hidden: Login to view

Hello cello :)

Nice to see you on the forum again.

I did a quick search on the net for Closeoutswholesalers.com and found that a couple of people have had bad experiences with them -

I also visited their site and saw that although they advertise that they accept credit card payments via Google Checkout, in actuality they don't
What types of payment do you accept? We accept Money Orders, Cashiers` Checks and Bank Wire Transfers. Bank Wire information will be attached to your invoice.

Plus it is never ideal dealing with suppliers who have been online for less than 2 years. This supplier has only been online since June of this year.

From the reviews and the other information I have read, I would not recommend them to you or anybody at this point.

Hope this helps :)
