Hi, was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem. I have bought a make up gift box which consisted of 3 lipsticks, eye shadow compact and a blush compact from the US, I'm in Australia, btw. I just paid for it, now the buyer has sent me an email stating that she is having problems shipping it due to the cost of UPS, they want over $90 us dollars to ship it here... Is this correct? Why would it cost so much to ship an item to Australia? If anyone has any other ideas as to the cheapest way for her to ship this over here, I would love to here from you. Thanks.

Try USPS, I think that is the cheapest way to do it.

We have made several shipments to Australia for less than $20.00 through USPS. $90.00 is very over priced.

Hi thanks for your reply i had to get a refund from her...She tried so many different places but all said that the amount would be over $90.00 she also couldnt understand why..as she had posted many items also to Australia...I found another site that was also selling these from the US..but they also said they would not ship it due to the high cost...very strange thanks to both of you

The last item i sent to Australia cost $40. I too thought it would only be about twenty bucks and had to eat the difference!

You can ship up to 20 pounds (9 kg) from the US to anywhere in the world in a USPS flat rate box for $37.00.

I wonder if she was dropshipping it to you and had no choice but to use her dropshippers charges. I recently had an inquiry from Germany on a dropship item. It would have cost me $30 to have a $12.00 item shipped to him from my dropshipper. I had it shipped to me, THEN shipped to him and still only had to charge him $13.00.

thats very strange that she would say over $90 for shipping i did ask her if she was dropshipping and she said no......As i said in my previous post that i have encountered this problem only with this specific item more than once.....Is it the makeup that is causing the problem>? have no idea..I really want this item...but i guess i missed out...thanks to all of you

USPS flat rate or if the item does not weigh much then global priority is the cheapest and fastest way to go..I recently shipped a 3 pound item by global priority to Perth AU and it cost only $14.00....and on top of that you get delivery confirmation and tracking info...
