Almost ready to give up.I have bags under my eyes from staring at the computer for up to 12 hours a day.I really cant find anything that could be even a little competitive on ebay.Wholesale prices still are not good enough.I am wasting money putting things on ebay because i still cant compete with other sellers.I wish someone could reveal the real wholesale sources.I would appreciate any advice.

What products are you looking for in general. How many are you willing to buy in order to get a good price. Bulk is the key and it is scary ordering 1000 units at one time because of the risk. You have to increase your MOQ in order to get good prices. Example. Ipod nano contracts. 100 units a week is 180 each. MOQ 1000 a week is 150 each. Now you can get samples to get started. Your supplier will catch on to this and might stop doing business with your company. So when you buy samples buy in small lots of like 10. This way you have a chance to get some extra cash before comitting to larger orders. Start getting your samples now and ready for christmas shopping.

Thank you for that advice, I am brand new at this and i'm realizing that i will need to buy in bulk for better deals.I don't have the money for that so i guess i'll have to start with single items and keep learning from everyone for now, and just hang in and be patient.

Well I agree with most of the statements here. SOmetimes we just pick bad products. We have to sell the products and just take the loss. We learn from our mistakes and than move onto bigger and better things. Heck some of us even get scammed here and there. This business isn't for everyone but it is fun. I really like to travel. The wholesale business allows me to travel to a variety of places. The best art is that its all a business expense. lol . It takes time but it without putting the extra time into the business it will probally go nowhere.

Well, when I started on Ebay, I started selling my own clothing and my daughters clothing that we grew out of ........ Yard sale clothing! NICE STUFF of course. I sold it in lots. You would be surprised!

Yard sales is a good start! LOL Then I found boutique stores who sold used clothing -- to deal with, and bought all the sale items - but there is so much competition now - getting the feedback up is the name of the game on Ebay. Higher feedback, more customers! :) But I can tell you, it didn't happen over night. It was hard work, but fun for me, still fun for me, and I think you can't give up!

I just enjoy the whole resale thing! It's exciting to me!
