Ok, I've asked several times about ebay alternatives. It seems that no one out there is doing enough volume to run a full time business, unless they are on ebay, run their own site, or Amazon.

So... to those of you who are amazon pro's, Any tips on how to build enough feedback to get some sales?? I have many products listed, and all have the lowest prices, but no sales as of yet.

I want to leave ebay for good, but along with local CL sales, they are the only way I can generate consistant sales. I'm hoping that amazon is the way to go.
thanks in advance,
Matt

The profit margins are much higher on Amazon. For example, I can list an item on amazon for 20-30% more on Amazon (than ebay), and still be the price leader. And, when I list on ebay, I get charged fees if it sells or not.
Are you selling on nextag?

Also, I know there is a buzz with Bonanzle right now... and I think that is great for the future, and everyone should check it out because it could be a good site.
But, I'm really looking for a way to move a higher volume of product in a timely fashion, which requires a major traffic site such as Amazon--- which is why I started the topic.

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to add products to the amazon inventory? I tried to list a few items that I found were not already in Amazons inventory.

i've never got that far... I think you have to enter it into the catalog.

Listing an item that is already in inventory is extremely fast and much much easier than ebay, FYI, for anyone who has not tried it.
