i know this a huge long shot but i thought i'd throw it out there. im not expecting much of a reply but i thought i'd try. if you bought customer returned ps3's, you could get them at a low price and sell them at a low price, plus i would buy the broken ones from you. worth looking into. let me know. im only asking cause i buy broken ones on ebay and half the time there stripped for parts. i need a reliable source, i cant afford to buy the untested customer returns

If I understand the question correctly, you are looking for someone interested in buying customer return units in bulk, then on-sell at a small profit per machine to you, as well as through other avenues?

what i mean is, if someone can make a decent profit off of whats working, then sell off the broken consoles at idk around $100 - $130 to me. again im not sure if this is doable, but from what ive seen from a few sellers on ebay, is they buy customer returns and sell the working ps3's then sell the broken consoles at a lower price to add to there profits.

again i dont know if this is doable, you would probably have better idea than i would fudjj. just thought i'd throw it out there

OK, now I got it!

Completely doable, but you would need to jump a few hurdles to start with. Of course you need to find a buyer (maybe your ebay contact could be a good place to start)

From there you just have to work out what you are actually getting for your money, and how much money it is costing you to know whether or not it would be a financially viable option for you.

I know a member that was interested in buying customer return XBox, maybe looking for people to split a load could get you the best result?

ya i think splitting a load would probably be the best way to go about it. but i have always been concerned w/ that b/c i just dont know how it would work. how much involvement would there be w/ that person? do i trust that he would ship my fair half? would you ship half to 1 location and half the other? how do you work that out? sure complicates things

Yes, interesting one.

Splitting the shipping would be possible, we just need to make the MOQ to secure the load. So that would get around that little hurdle, however I'm not sure how many people are wanting to get into this market, so finding other interested parties to by in with you could be your biggest problems.

The other issue with splitting shipping is there may well be an imbalance of what each receives, for example: one pallet may well have ten working units, and the other may have 1.

Nothing is tested, just shipped in and shipped out as you know.

Being that, you would just have to work on the worst case scenario that you were only going to get non-working units, and then get a bonus with any working units that turn up on your pallet.

Pro's and con's in both directions.

The best scenario would be to find someone locally to you, that would solve some issues for you both.

ya, that was my other concern w/ splitting them up. im helping my friend get in on this business and we plan on buying from you eventually, but we keep getting burned from sellers who either stripped the units for parts or someone did before they got them. but its my fault for looking for that 'great deal' gonna have to be willing to pay a little more per unit from those who are buying customer returns, at least i'll know what im getting. thanx again fudjj
