Anyone know what sort of thing you can find at boot fairs/flea markets that sell well on ebay?

I went to a boot fair the other day and saw alot of potential but i really didn't know where to start.. I've heard of people making good money from buying second hand stuff at charity shops and boot fairs and selling on through ebay.

Any ideas or experience from other members?

Thanks

Michelle

Michelle.

Another option would be if there are any storage unit auctions in your area. I have done this several times and once you clean out the trash you will be suprised at what you find. I have alway gotten a return of 3 to 5 times my investment on the units back. A good site to look for auctions in your area is www.auctionzip.com

Good luck

Before buying things at flea markets and car boot sales, try to do a little research to see what kind of things sell well on eBay. There is great profit to be made from selling second hand items, especially if they are collectable or out of productiion items. You can come up with a particular item you are interested in and have a look at completed listings on eBay to see what they sold for,

I found this article with a quick Google search and I see they are also offering a free report. But be aware that these free reports, although full of good tips, are always followed up with marketing letters trying to get you to purchase some other kind of ebook or marketing tools.

Once you find a niche product on eBay it's often really easy to pick up bargains from other sellers who don't know what they are doing - for instance they put up really bad pictures, terrible lazy descriptions or end their auctiions in the early hours of the morning when nobody's browsing. I myself have one particular product that I purchase at least three times a week on eBay from other sellers and flip for at least a 45% profit aand sometimes a lot more than that.

Also check out articles on "Ebay Arbitrage" by Googling.

Best of luck

Hi Michelle,

"Buy Low, Sell High"

Looking for a ‘Get Rich Quick’ scheme? Then arbitrage would definitely qualify! Arbitrage means buying commodities low in one market, and then rapidly selling them again for a higher price in another market. Arbitrageurs take advantage of differences in price and demand in different markets to make money.

On eBay, arbitrage involves buying hot items at lower than usual prices and then selling them for a profit - either on other auction sites or offline.
