Hi guys,
I've noticed an invasion of chinese/hong kong sellers on e-bay europe (france, italy etc) especially for what concerns electronics and accessories. is this impacting your business? how do you fight with their below the cost prices? in your opinion will be put out of the market? is still worth importing and affording customs duties and VAT?
do the us, aussies and kiwies have the same problem?

Ebay is pushing the chinese market right now..There was a special on tv the other night. It was a re-run, but still had the part about ebays president visiting china and trying to vamp up their membership..Paypal is even available to them now...Eu is responsible for 30% of the ebay market now and they want to increase that through the china market...

thanks Gulfy,
I'm astonished! e-bay is so hard on people selling brands because their fear they are fakes but allow all these people selling their goods even if they do not inform the end users that they will have to pay for customs duties (It happened to me). I bougth some inexpensive articles and my goods were retained
by the french customs until I did not send them the invoice.
