Hi, Im at the start of trying to generate more traffic to my website. I was wondering If anyone had any experience with Link hidden: Login to view
I signed up cuz its free and figured what the heck. So far Its actually generated a few backlinks for me and the concept is pretty cool. Basically, you submit Intel or review Intel sumbitted by other users and in return you get help promoting your website.
Anyone else know of any similar sites that dont cost money to help push my site.

thanks,
P.S. I cant use craigs list cuz my site is a Affiliate site and they dont take affiliate listings.

If you are trying to go the free route I suggest you read up on seo.
there is just so much free info out there. go to youtube.com and search for nancy andrews. Basically seo is 1.keyword research, 2.content around keywords in your case info about your product. 3. Strategical linking and traffic strategies. There is a system to all this madness and you can get continuos traffic for nothing but sweat equity.

It will take at least a month or two depending how fast you move. The great part is it is continuos. No hokus pokus. For real world guidance, if you are not faint at heart go to Link hidden: Login to view. Vic Franqui, is a great teacher and does not mince words.. His teachings are based around affiliate marketing and seo, adsense etc. Priceless and needless to say it is all FREE. He will even critique your site if you want. but before he does please listen and heed to his video help.

By the way if you want to make money and not just a shot in the dark please do 'ebay affiliate program' or go to 'www.popshops.com' and research and sign up for their programs . It enables you to have a whole store on just affiliate products form different vendors. Good luck..

They did drop CJ alltogether and apparently tried to stop the influx of business. Breaking frames my foot and they know it as its that obvious. Traffic?

Traffic is easy to come by TC, its hard to master. And I won't lie to you it takes a massive amount of buildup of traffic but it is done every day. I do it all the time. All on auto-pilot. I flood the traffic to my store until the dam literally breaks, and filters through all the visitors into eBay, Craiglist, uBid, Amazon, Bidville and everywhere else including my products.

eBay should get off its high and mighty chair and thank me and what we in fact did instead of become more restrictive.

They've been acting out alot lately as has uBid and they have so much negative publicity, the free traffic is probably why they are even still going so strong. Work with people instead of fight them.

You could also try any of the following to further increase traffic to your site:

-Try submitting your product listings to Google product search, it's fast and free way to get more traffic!

-Optimize your site for the search engines. There are a lot of really great tools that are FREE..give Link hidden: Login to view a try

-Leverage traffic from eBay, Amazon or other auction sites. Set up an account with the username the same as your business name and list a few items at attractive prices. Put your website URL in your email signature tags and insert into template eBay emails. Set up an About Me page with photos of your business, yourself and of course, your URL.

-Also try using Google Adwords

SEO is something that works for long time with less investment.

Amongst others PPC brings instant results. Then again you have to some trial and error before you find out what works better.

thanks a ton for all these useful info. still trying, haha but my will is unbroken. I converted by store over to wordpress, built a blog on top of my ebay/ affiliate store and well, things are slow.

I'm hoping with the addition of some great content and blog posts I can start to drive some traffic. All truth be told, I made a site to big for one person to handle I think. I'm looking into trying to bring some people on board to help out.

Sense I joined salehoo I have been through a lot of learning, searching and learning more. Sometimes I think I have learned so much some of it is coming out my ears and I need to pick it up and learn it again because I tried to learn to much...........wow.

Saw something new while I was browsing through the net...Maybe you guys could use this to increase web traffic to your stores.

Social networks allow consumers to obtain information about a company or product straight from other consumers. These conversations are powerful drivers in marketing since consumers are more likely to listen to what another consumer (especially a friend or colleague) says than what a company says. Ecommerce merchants can encourage and utilize word-of-mouth marketing by providing a platform where these conversations can take place.

To learn more about it, please go to:

Cheers! :)
