Hello,
I'm camunsif and I'm a new seller in ebay, when I start everything seeing smooth but now I'm stuck. I buy many e-books about selling in ebay and use all what I learned to be a good seller but what I got? the same results.

So, I really hope there is someone or some of you can guide me to make a profit on ebay. All my products (most of them electronics) working good, I give a good communication between me and my customer and I don't have negative feedback. I don't know what the problems.

Please someone guide me, I also want to be like you, a powerseller in ebay and have a nice profit every week. Please tell me what to do, my credit card limit have reach the limit because everything I sold in auction make me lose more money.

Please..

Thank you,
camunsif

There are quite a few things you really need to have in place to give yourself the best possible chance of making margin, and even then you need some luck as far as market forces that can impact on your sales outside of your control.

Things like price, delivery time, type of product and so on, it all has to be perfect to be really successful.

I'm not sure about the type of electronic product/s you are selling, but have you done the research to see how many others are selling the same, and the prices they are selling for and so on?

It also sounds like you are most likely drop shipping, and you are lucky to find a product to sell on ebay in the electronics field that offers much margin at the best of times, but in this current economic climate, it would be a nightmare!

I try to sell like t-shirts, jackets but when I search with ebay complete listing I found the price I purchased is more than item sold in ebay. so I decided to not sell those things.

But everyone says sells those things can have high profit margin, how?
can you tell me what I supposed to sells on ebay?

thanks.

Finding something with a high profit margin to sell on ebay is getting harder and harder. The way most big sellers do it is to use a low margin, high turnover business model.

It involves spending a lot of money up front on volume buying to ensure you are getting the best possible deal on your stock. Then you have to keep your margins low to make sure you are supper competitive with your competition and rely on selling at a high turnover to produce profit.

With large wholesalers using ebay as a marketing platform, it's a damn expensive way to enter the market, but if you are going up against competitors who do this, then it's the only way you have a chance of competing.

The other avenue to chase is the niche market, selling products that are not saturating ebay, and everyone cutting each others throats to make a sale.

Niche markets are not easy to find always, but if they were they wouldn't be niche markets for long!

Hi camunsif,

Fudjj has pretty much said it all. (@fudjj: Great advice by the way!)

If you are having a hard time selling or making a decent profit margin on eBay, why not try other sites?

There a plenty of other sites where you can try selling your products like bonanzle, craigslist, eCrater and the list will go on...please click on the link below for a list of good eBay alternatives:

Hope this helps. Cheers:)
