Ive been dropshipping on local sites sofar and 2days ago listed my first items on ebay to see how that did.

First day i sold 16items now after 2days ive sold 33items with a average profit of 11$ (10,7-13,4$).
Sadly ebay limited me to 50items pr month, so just 500-600$ profit pr month.
Best they could do is review me for limit increase when ive recived first 20 positive feedback in a month or so.

What international (or national english speaking) auction sites are there other than ebay?

At the moment im stuck with 2 options and will probably persue both of them.
a) Find what other sites there are and list on all of those.
b) Make a online store and see how well i can convert.

In theory a banner tends to give 2-4% clickrate and a decent looking site 1-5% conversion rate to sales.
If assuming 2% clickrate and 1% sales of that traffic;
200 000 views/displays - 200$ (forums,arcades,gaming traffic)
4000 clicks, 40 sales, 17$ average profit without ebay fees would be a return of 680$.

That's a pretty solid start with ebay, nice margin as well. The only other format that would come close to offering the same traffic flow as ebay would be Amazon.

Will definatly check out that list :)

Still not sure if i will stick to ebay, if not for the sales limit i dont see why i shouldent be able to clear a 4000-5000$ profit pr month.
Ive found almost 10 products with 10$+ profit and 100% sell-threw rate.

By my last call with ebay it will take me close to 2years to get anywhere close to the item limits i need for that.

Ebay also seems to have some communication issues with their staff, ive had a few listings removed with the reason of a diffrent product being recalled.
But when i call them they say its a ok product to sell, by email ive gotten 3 answers. one yes, one no and one that the rep dosent know.

Not sure if i want to use ebay at all over time with them being that flakey.

Welcome to ebay trading, yes it can be a pain, yes it can at times feel like there isn't anyone there with half a brain, but yes .... it's worth persisting for long term gain.

Just an idea, but do you have friends that could perhaps open up a new account and sell for you on a commission basis?

Making 5 or 6 dollars a product x 3 or 4 other limited accounts is better than making nothing at all. If you don't, I'm sure there will be members here that will stick up their hand to work with you on that type of strategy.
