Is there any secret to getting around this? Ive kind of had it with this deal. Ive been an ebay seller since the days of 2 pages of category listings. My feedback is all good I have a 4.9 dsr. I actually have my products in hand. I took a long absense from ebay and started again in april. I got my first block at 25 items and had to supply an invoice...no biggy i knew that one ahead of time. I went on listing fine. maybe 150 items. I had about 30 dresses that didnt sell so i relisted then i got into problems. It got lifted...i got told they needed to see more pos feedback and request feedback from people...i got that...last round i didnt have major listing restrictions i could at least get up to 25 items which of course isnt a great deal...now i got a new load of suits worked my as$ off to get those and swimsuits scheduled for this weekend close to 50. It only let me list 5 before stopping me! It makes for a huge mess when i have them scheduled and they dont go off..i get so confused..not to mention you wanna turn a load around as quick as you can. ANybody figure out their fancy reasoning or algorythm they use for htis or chuck it up to another ebay complaint to weed out smaller sellers trying to go big lol

Welcome to the new e-bay. Lots of changes in the last few months.
Better research new policies.lot of sellers have left because of them

Yeah ebay has pretty much made it very hard to do business. If your stuff is new then move to amazon.

Just comply with them. They will eventually let you sell what you want.

I think since you had a hiatus they might be concerned with account hijacking or account selling.

You somehow got caught up in their VERO software checking.

There are plenty of sellers selling new stuff. But they have some history.

If you are generally in good standing with them, open 2 more eBay accounts and sell a little on each one.

In the meantime open another Paypal account-don't use false info(I say that because there are sites saying to do this to get around Paypal, but once you do that and get caught you can never be legit with them again.) And open 1 other ebay account with that Paypal account and sell slowly on that one too.

Eventually, you will be free to do what you want on all of them.

There has been a sh#tload of scamming going on with eBay and Paypal. They have to do something to maintain their business and keep it alive for everyone.

Always, always be completely upfront with both eBay and Paypal. You will eventually be OK.

Also, use Auctiva. I say this all the time because if eBay temporarily suspends your account you can have your listings saved on Auctiva and when eBay releases the hold you can just click on list to eBay from Auctiva. When I am listing from Auctiva I always click save after I create a listing if you don't you will lose the data.

Don't listen to the naysayers about eBay. Since eBay started their new conditions for sellers I have seen my sales go up and I am getting higher final bids.

Planes: How do you have 2 separate eBay & PayPal accounts using the same info. I thought you couldn't do that???

They were actually very nice about it when i wrote and lifted the restrictions. Of course there is a new threshold that i cant be told what it is but so far its been totally reasonable and not blocked me. I was shocked! Im not really into moving. Ebay still has the traffic and quick turnaround and i make anywhere from 20-50 profit on each of my items so its well worth just waiting things out. Amazon seems cool esp with their pack and ship program but doesnt seem like a lot of my kind of items are moving fast on there. I like the quick turn around pay off what you bought save the rest and buy some more!

I have multiple paypay and ebay accounts and all of my info and credit cards are the same. The only thing that they made me change was I had to have a different email address for each account. Other than that all of my info is the same.

electronics4everyone 12,

Just sell you items on some of the other auction sites. There are plenty out there, ubid, ebid, ioffer, craig's list, amazon, etc...

Just start using all or some of the other one and you should do fine..

You have to gain their trust. I have had hundreds of items listed with them at one time but I have had my account with them for 8 years and always made good on my transactions or made it good if there was an issue.

I was away on business and really really screwed up my eBay accounts with them this year. I mean I screwed-up good. They closed my accounts blocked me from selling and even placed one of my accounts as no longer a member.

I even failed to deliver items I sold. A complete mess.

So I had to decide if I wanted to continue. It was a mess. I just made good with everyone. I got 5 buyers to reverse negative feedback, paid all of my accounts up to present and then simply wrote up everything I did to improve my accounts.

Within a week of my request to eBay to re-instate my accounts they returned everything to normal and even re-instated the account that went no longer a registered user.

So if I can do it then anyone can. You just have to work with them.
