Hi everyone.

Over the past month I've been selling razor blades from China and havedone quite well. At first I didn'tknow they were fakes, but eventually found out. Whenever I sold them I told my customers that they weren't genuine. Tonight ebay sent me an email to say that the listings had been removed and that all bidders would be notified. My question is this -Am I supposed to refund everyone their money, or as they were happy with the product, do they keep it and I just don't sell them again?

Help cause I'm worried!

Don't worry, pretty common happening with ebay once they have identified your listings as falling outside their advertising guidelines.

All that will happen now is that any current bidders will be notified of the cancellation, and you will not be permitted to list the items again. Your account other than that will not be effected in any way, and no refunds from past sales will be required. In fact previous customers won't even be aware of the issue unless they were a current bidder.

Just be very careful now as to what you do list, as your seller status will have taken a bit of a dent as far as ebay themselves are concerned, but nothing to be concerned about so long as you don't get caught again.

Thanks for that Fudjj...just a question again...

2 hours b4 these items were removed I had changed the item location from my address to China. Would this be what had alerted them? I've looked on ebay and contacted other sellers who were seklling the same thing, and theirs are fakes also but have never run into any trouble with ebay.

Yesterday I relisted them to see what happens...stupid possibly, but so far nothing from ebay. Should I quickly get rid of them?? Or should it be ok as I have the item listed at my address again?

There are a couple of reasons this may have happened. ONe, your wording may have been wrong or said things such as mentioned a trademark name.
I would carefully look at your listings and compare it exactly to the other ones and see if they are wording it differently. And yes it could be because you failed to say where the items are coming from and if your buyers complain eBay could pull the listings.

If you get flagged again by eBay you are looking at a suspension so make sure your listing is within eBays policies.
