Hi
I read through the forum searching for possibilities
to crate my first well functioning online store.

I am quite familiar with wordpress. There are a lot of Pros and Cons
using it with a lot of plugins (slow). Moreover you are compleately
responsible for security issues.
I don't mean the well functioning shopping cart plugins, but just that your site can easily be hacked. I have experienced it before, and it is not at all cool ... Connnnn.....

Then I stumbled here by research and reading the ebooks ... Pro!!!!!
Then I considered to subscribe to the GoDaddy Online Shopping Cart system.
What seems to be the most easy way to start. Because GoDaddy is
more likely to be responsible for the security issues.

But just before I do that - some questions:

1: If I research "Turnkey Shops" on SaleHoo I get negtive feedback responses on forum posts. Perhaps this is a problem of word usage.

In the EBook - The Ebay Fortune Guide - it is recomended. Why?

2: I am good at using WordPress. But there you have to integrate Plugins which have Pros and Cons. I am shure you know...

3: Or should I use Zen Cart as recommended so many times?

4: Or should I buy a expensive e-commerce solution?

5: What is best for SEO!? - LOL - you see where it goes...

Kind Regards - Krypton

Hello again Alan,

I will try my best to address your concerns, kindly refer to my answers below -

1: If I research "Turnkey Shops" on SaleHoo I get negtive feedback responses on forum posts. Perhaps this is a problem of word usage.

In the EBook - The Ebay Fortune Guide - it is recomended. Why?

I haven't read The eBay Fortune Guide so I cannot comment as to why they recommend turnkey stores.

But at SaleHoo we feel that turnkey stores do not necessarily provide the most profitable products to resell thus do not recommend them.

The idea of selling preloaded stores may sound appealing we still would not recommend it. The reason being that you have absolutely no way of distinguishing yourself from the hundreds of other sellers using the same tool or host selling the same products!

If your titles are the same, your pictures are the same, your description is the same, the shipping and service is the same – what is your competitive advantage? Where is your unique selling point?

You might get a couple of sales if you are lucky, but it’s not a workable model for building an ongoing profitable venture. That’s just our 2 cents!

2: I am good at using WordPress. But there you have to integrate Plugins which have Pros and Cons. I am shure you know... and 3: Or should I use Zen Cart as recommended so many times?

It depends on how large your store will be, if you're planning on setting up a store with different products and product categories, then we suggest you use zencart since it's designed for ecommerce/online selling.

Unlike Wordpress which is designed for blogging. But if its just a small store offering a few products, then you can just go with Wordpress.

4: Or should I buy a expensive e-commerce solution?

The decision is yours but why buy an expensive ecommerce solution, when you can check out Link hidden: Login to view

SaleHoo Stores helps you sell more with your own professionally designed, search optimized e-commerce website. and we offer 3 different plans so you can choose which one best suits your preference.

5: What is best for SEO!? - LOL - you see where it goes...

I would most probably give you a bias answer to that :) But like I mentioned in my reply to you other post, I would recommend trying our Link hidden: Login to view

If you do decide to get your own SaleHoo Stores store SEO should not be too much of a concern since our stores are designed from the ground up to be easily optimized for the search engines (like Google) you can start getting free traffic from the beginning.

Your Store will even send out automatic messages to the search engines that act as little boosters that help you get noticed faster.

Hope this helps, all the best!

PS, don't worry too much about all the questions that keeping popping up in your mind (i think its common to most everyone who is about to start a new venture online and offline) :)

Hi Richelle

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I misunderstood what actually a turnkey shop is.
I didn't know that they were already filled up with products.
Acually I was just looking for a webbased shop hosting system.

The salehoo shop solution looks great and convincing,
with all its futures. I will have a go with it.

Just excellent that you offer pinging services as well.
That is it what I love about WordPress.

Kind Regards - Alan

Hello Kim,

I I just double checked your receipt and I see why you do not find SaleHoo Stores in your products section. You only bought "SaleHoo Wholesale Directory Membership" and stores was not part of your purchase.
