I am total newbie when it comes to ebay and have been researching items
to sell and have found something i want to sell on ebay.
However this item has alot of other people selling it and my question is can you pay to get onto the first couple of pages that come up on ebay when someone does a search. I know i have to put the correct wording in my add and need great feedback etc but am wondering if these front pages are restricted to the power sellers. Would it help if i undercut my compeditors to fast track my status?. I know everyone says dont start selling something that big players are selling but i want to give it a go anyway and force myself into this area. I understand it may take some time to get established but would love to know any short cuts available.
Thank you

Put it up. It can't hurt. EBay uses certain algorithms based on how much an item is viewed, selling history etc... I know there are people that work the system but just let things happen unless you want to spend countless hours working multiple accounts and listing theories.

Make a nice listing and maybe offer free shipping or a lower price with a low shipping. Something to drive the buyers to your listing. You really should have some feedback too.
