i have never heard of that auction site, is it only for australia?
Also i see you have got no feedback, personally i would not go near you because there are too many scam artists on the internet.

If it was me i would sell some lower priced items to get some good feedback before even trying to sell designer items.

As already suggested try ebay, but again without feedback you will be lucky to sell designer items.

good luck.

You're not really doing anything wrong. Oztion is really not getting very much traffic at all. I tried a few things on there a couple of months ago with the same result. Nobody looking.

Difficult I can do right away. Impossible takes a little longer

Thank you for all of your help

The reason why i chose oztion though(it is australian), is because ebay cost a lot more, even to list, i'd have to pay them. also oztion allows me to set up a buy it now price which ebay doesnt

does any one know any other auction site in australia where theres more traffic??? The reason why i am choosing australiam site only as im still new to this and dont know much about doing business with overseas customers yet. I rather get my ground solid before taking the 2nd step

once again, thank you all

all of my items are buy it now, pay now listing and they are on ebay.
Maybe the difference is I have a store?

I did list some things ages ago on oztion and got nothing.

The advantage of Oztion is no listing fees, so if it doesn't sell, you lose nothing.

Hi shonargaon,

Check out this blog: Link hidden: Login to view for additional Australian auction sites.

You could try listing a few items on eBay to help drive traffic to your listings on Australian sites such as Oztion. Although expensive, more (as in lots more) people go to eBay so it might be worth the investment.

All the best!

By the way, if you have time please add your photo to your profile :)

@AustGarageSales: Nice pic! Really cute :)

Hi shonargaon,

As has been highlighted, Oztion won't be bringing you that much traffic so you should never expect sales to chart very well on the platform. Having said that, it is a free listing site and therefore all your are wasting is your time by being there. If you consider that to be an acceptable use of your time, then I suggest keeping a profile there for sure.

eBay does cost of course, but it delivers traffic, and that's what gets sales at the end of the day.

The trading post also operate an auction site, although I don't think they have free listings and they don't yet offer an auction platform on all categories, for some completely bizarre reason that is lost on me!

One other point I would make with the product line, I would suspect that sales in general would be down a little for the Australian designer sunglasses market during the winter period. No, I have no stats to back that opinion up, just my way of thinking, so that could also impact on sales no matter where you are selling : )
