Is paypal changing the way it works? How will I use a dropshipping service if I dont have the money even after payment was received?

are you new to paypal? when i first joined they would hold the money till my customer recieved there purchase, but if i sold more after that and the next purchases were less then what they were holding they would release the money right away. if you can, try to have more money in your paypal account than your average sale and you shouldn't have a problem

Yeah, spot on, this is standard PayPal operating procedure, you'll need to cover those funds owing yourself until your account is cleared.

OK guys thanks for the help, it really caught me unprepared. I had to pay from my money which was not the plan but no reason to make the same mistake twice.

ya it was a pain for me just to cover shipping expenses, but i can't imagine dropshipping that could be tough for awhile. i guess you do need money to start out dropshipping.

On a new account I just started with eBay, all of my first 5 sales have been held. They must be having an awful time still with scammers. Why else would they hold that many sales. And were not talking about high priced stuff. Highest priced item was 18$.

Find stuff around that you can sell. I think once you get past 5 sales with some FB they lighten up some, as 5 sales is what you need to do BIN and store sales.

This is another security measure that they employ to certain cases where it has been determined that the risk of dissatisfied buyers is higher.

It's under 'Occasional Hold on Payments.'

Cheers! :)
