I don't know if it is just me, or you have this problem too. I get a bunch of customers sending me emails asking where the item the purchased is at and why they haven't received it. They will purchase an item on say Sunday with UPS Ground Shipping. Which according to UPS takes 1 to 6 business days. On Thursday or Friday, they will ask why they haven't received it yet and I have to explain that it was shipped within 2 business days and UPS takes 1 to 6 days. So you should receive it in another 3 or 4 days. Anyone have a good suggestion to deal with these people.

Its because you have UPS as a shipping carrier. People are stupid when it comes to terms of time. And delivery time. Most dont even read your auction. They just skim the page and see what they want to see.

Are you emailing them the tracking information? If you send them the tracking info the same day you ship its doubtfull you will ever hear from them again untill they leave feedback.

I have found that FedEx is alot cheaper and faster than UPS.

I tell them that they will receive tracking number in 2-4 days. That way when they receive tracking the next day, their very happy. Also if I get an order say Friday evening, it's covered if they don't get tracking until Monday.

Yep, been there done that...

Always use tracking with USPS just in case.

These people sometimes are brainless. I had one buyitnow a laptop on a Friday at 5pm, paid at 5:01pm and did a charge back Monday at 6am because he didn't receive the laptop... Man!!!

Another one who required signature delivery and 3 times FedEx showed up and no one was there to sign. A free red for me + full refund etc... Man!!!

One lady once complained I scammed her. She did a charge back because the item didn't showup. We had the tracking number, proof of delivery from UPS (signature, it was a pricy item). She continued to blame us, stating we were working with UPS to scam honnest people... Paypal freed the funds but then informed us that she did a CC charge back. Fortunately we got coverred by PayPal $2,000 seller protection policy.

This seems to be something that is getting bigger and bigger. I just think that with all the scams out there today people just do not trust anyone regardless of their feedback. It just happend to me. I sent a package out on Friday and today I am getting a email requesting a delivery time and a tracking number. You also have to keep in mind that there are a ton of stupid people out there. You just have to learn to be nice and bite your tounge! I know it's hard!!!!

Oh you know it. I dont know how many times a week I just want to literally cuss out people for asking me the most retarded questions.

I have every possible question listed as a FAQ on each auction page and I still have 20-30 questions a week asking the very same questions I have answered on the auction page.

The problem is most buyers only have selective reading.

:D
