Hi guys,

I just bought my salehoo store and I found a few wholesaler for my niche and I would like to have some tips on how I should start.

My niche market is women shoes and most of the wholesaler I found do not dropship. I don't have a lot of cash flow yet so my order will be low.

Everytime I order a pair of shoes they come in a package of 12 and I can't choose the size.

I don't want to have many products sleeping in my inventory.

Anyone has strategy about how many to order etc ...?

PS: I have pretty good wholesale price on the shoes I can make arround 20-70 $ profit

Hi Chris and everyone,
Just starting out myself this month with the Salehoo store. Going with basic items for children. Not a lot out there for me with my little storage area and limited cash. I still have not figured out how to take credit cards with the store. I am looking into Paypal Website Standard but do not know if it is compatable. Has anyone any suggestions.

Chris, I hope someone gives you some tips on your problem as I am trying to learn myself. Best of luck and I hope to see you profit well.

Hi Navel,

I hope you'll be doing good you too! I think it only a question of time and hard work.

I hope someone will answer both of our question!

Hi again,

Just emailed support at support@salehoo.com about best way to accept credit cards through the store and how to set it up for the customer to use. Slowly it seems to get things done. (Wish I had relatives who have already done this.)

Hi Christopher,

Sorry about the delay in addressing your posts, we're a bit swamped with support tickets and trying our best to respond to everyone.

For starters, I would agree that Dropshipping would be the best way to start especially as you are just starting out and you will be selling various sizes. Having a shoe size or style not sold is a risk you cannot afford at this stage.

I did a search fro you and found a few more dropshippers that have really beautiful women's shoes -

Hope you can find one of the dropshippers listed above suitable to your needs.

And by the way, thanks for the compliment! It means well :)

Cheers!

Hi Navel,

Welcome to SaleHoo and congratulations on your new store :)

Your store is set up to accept credit cards VIA PayPal. Credit cards cannot be set, but you can enable PayPal among the payment options, and you can accept credit card payments thru PayPal.

To set the Payment options, once logged in to your site as Admin, please click on Settings, Store Settings. Then click on Payment. The list of Payment Methods that you can set to ENABLE, are

1 Bank Transfer
2 Cheque / Money Order
3 Cash On Delivery
4 PayPal Disabled
5 PayPal Direct Checkout

To set Paypal details, click on Paypal, and fill in the PayPal email address, Status to enable. Once a customer purchases an item from your store, he/she can use credit cards to send payment thru Paypal, which will then gets credited to your PayPal account.

Hope this helps :)

You're welcome Chris :)

Sorry took long for me to reply to you but I checked out the supplier you mentioned in your post and they seemed pretty legit. They have been online a little over a year but there does not seem to be any negative feedback or comments about them.

I read through most of their site and everything looked promising. Their products were amazing too!

You'll need a resale or sales tax ID to do business with them. I'm not sure where you are based but the equivalent of a sales tax in other countries, would be a VAT ID, GST or ABN.

Hope this helps :)
