Hello

I joined earlier this year once I started my store. Link hidden: Login to view

Since then I have been able to slowly dominate my targeted keywords while working on others. I have had a good steady amount of sales about 2-3K a month with a net profit of about 30%

I have several repeat customers but now I need to take things up a notch and I am stuck! Below is a list of what I have done:

Guest Blogging
Contests
Email Marketing
Forum Sponsorships/Contests
Blogging
Social Media
Link Building (various techniques)
Quality Directory Submissions
Coupon Code Submissions

Maybe I am a little impatient and I don't discount my work as being unsuccessful however I know it is possible to outrank my competition with continual elbow grease. I have been using SEOMoz pro tools to help me along and this has made a huge difference in my SE rankings.

For those with their own shops, is this a slow time of year for internet shopping???

Any input would be appreciated.

Joe

Hi Joe,

That's an impressive amount of work you have put in already, and I can see that you are getting some pretty impressive results due to the application of it.

In regards to the market at the moment, really comes down to the product profile you have as to when or if sales slow as part of a regular market cycle, but I do know from past experience that it can slow in the lead up to Christmas and then take off with a down hill rush quite rapidly 6-8 weeks out from Christmas itself.

Will be interesting to read what other's are experiencing at the moment.
