hello there :)

I am planning on making a webstore and sell products but the problem is i am leaving in Norway. I have tried to search for stores/shops here in Norway that are avaible for droshipping without any luck. I need som advice whether its best for me to buy wholesale items and sell it or dropshipping :(

Hi Kurt,

Welcome to SaleHoo! There are different advantages from the different product sourcing methods, and choosing which to use will often depend on the available capital /funds you have, as well on the stage which your business is at. :) Some employ a combination of sourcing items from a dropshipper, liquidation or from a wholesaler at the same time. I'd like to refer you to our Education Resource article discussing this to help you decide - Link hidden: Login to view

The first thing we suggest you do is decide what type of products you want to sell. Generally it's best to start selling something you are interested in because you are going to be spending a LOT of time thinking about it! :)

Once you've thought of a couple of ideas, it's time to start researching suppliers. This is where SaleHoo comes in. Use the search box to look for the product(s) you want to sell. When you've found some suppliers who fit the bill, send them an email asking what the best possible price is that they can give you for the products you wish to buy. A small tip for you: if you buy 20+ units at a time, you should be able to negotiate a better deal. It's also a good idea to contact more than 1 supplier before you start buying to compare prices.

And since you are living in Norway, and are intending to sell there, the suppliers need to be able to ship internationally. You can filter your supplier search in this line. :)

Hope this helps. Let me know how you would like to proceed. :)

Welcome to SaleHoo, ricardosells :)

Selling via auction sites like ebay is actually a good wait to test your market and product/s and like you pointed out in your post, there is less effort and loss if you take this route initially compared to if you invest on a site of your own.

It might be a good move to look for a more specific niche related to what you want to sell. Nowadays you have to really have to focus on a niche product to succeed online.

You could give our Link hidden: Login to view a try in helping you find your niche :)

Cheers!
