Albany Distributing concerns

I was on the brink of signing up with Albany Distributing until I went to look over their reviews and checked bbb.org. I am highly concerned with their terrible reviews. What's more, I am highly concerned that Albany Distributing is listed as a recommended/approved distributor on SaleHoo. The description on SaleHoo (Link hidden: Login to view) makes it sound like a goldmine. But how can that be true if they have 14 complaints with the Better Business Bureau (Link hidden: Login to view) and an overwhelming number of extremely negative reviews? How can I trust anything I see on SaleHoo now? That was the whole reason I paid $70 for this service. Very, very concerned at this point.

We've had only a few complaints on this supplier, but nothing at all service related. The issues reported to us from members has related to their prices and their fees. This is why they remain as a verified supplier.

While no one likes suppliers charging fees, it's fast becoming the normal for them to do so and in regards to pricing. Dropshipping in nature is never going to produce the type of margin on products that wholesale buying is going to do. When choosing to use a dropship model, these two factors need to be taken into consideration when choosing a supplier.

Albany Distributing is absolutely horrible. I'm going to do a video blog about them and the issues I encounter and this is just my first two order with them. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Actually, there are no customer service to tell you the truth. There is no sense of urgency. They do not care about your customers. I'm still dealing with them right now. They turn off their line 1-800-296-0820. When I try to call them, it goes straight to voicemail. I made two orders on Saturday and it is now Wednesday night. I still cannot get a straight answer from them. I have email them and asked them numerous time to call me! No luck! After this week, I'm going to ask that my account be closed and a refund be made back to me. I will file a formal complaint with the BBB as well. They have more complains than any on the BBB site! I wish I had looked that up.
