China vision, is on salehoo's, probably most reputable seller.
They have quite cheap items on sale there, especially if you are buying 10 packs, you get about like USD $2-$5 + for bulk orders.

Ive ordered an item of their just to check, and i got it delviered all safe and sound, and in good time as well, considering i am in New Zealand.

They would probably be my first place to buy things, if you only want one item or so, but you can get cheaper from other places (sites).

First of all, if your buying, ask them first if they could ship to where ever you are, not all retailers/websites ship anywhere.

As I mentioned, I placed an order with Chinavasion Wednesday evening, May 17th. Today May 23, I had an email message telling me my items have been shipped and that a tracking number would soon follow. So far so good.

Got an email this morning regarding my May 17th order. They sent the DHL tracking number and sure enough, my merchandise is in Hong Kong on the way! They also informed me they put a value of $150 on the customs form as the $765.00 US order that I placed has a retail value of $150.00 in China! So it costs them $7.50 to make the item i chose I guess! I think I'm going shopping in China!

However the reactions i see about chinavasion so far are good so i hope i found a supplier who i can trust!!

I have not bought from Chinavasion yet. I wanted a small digital camera in a Zippo lighter style case to sell on Yahoo auctions. I am in the US. The shipping cost was too high, not worth it for shipping to US. I will use them if I need to ship overseas from the US. One negative thou, I have emailed inquiries, they only responded once, out of maybe five. If you need multiple items, like 5 or more, you can get the quanity discount. If items need to go to different customers, you need to email them with instructions for the different addresses. Hope they read it.

Actually, they declare it low so there is less chance of it getting stolen. I was talking to someone from the post office and they said put the value low so when they look at it, they wont get any idea to steal it cause they think it's not worth much

Guys,

I've been checking out the site.

Ebay prices are cheaper than what they want for their products...

ahh i'm gonna give up soon...

saledoc_au - that's not entirely the case. Some items are cheaper on ebay, other items aren't. You just have to keep looking and comparing. Also, keep in mind that ebay isn't the only resource for selling. There are quite a few other auction sites out there. There's also the option of importing for local 'retail' type sale.

I'm hoping my online activities will give me the money to build up some stock so I can participate in flea markets, swap meets, etc locally, and make extra money offline.

For Australians we haven't got many options or the Market like the US.

We only have 20 Million population...

So Ebay is where the majority of buyers goto.

The service was perfect! They did signature confirmation and they were delivered on May 25, exactly 8 days after placing my order. The unit I bought (Knock off ipod nano) is very cool. Not too tricky to learn but the instructions are not great. So I will need to write new instructions for whom ever i sell them to. I am also having problems transferring itunes music to them from my computer. All other songs were no problem. I am still working on it tho! The packaging is perfect (and small easy to ship) and the item looks FABULOUS! A bunch of kids were hanging around when I got the order and they started screaming they wanted one! HA! Well if I ever figure out how to transfer itunes mp3's, this will be a great little gadget. Also need to transfer a small video. There is a cartoon movie currently on the unit!

Good to know that the transaction went so smoothly. Once I gather up the funds, I may just place an order...

Thanks tjaniga1 for the updates. :)

I've dropshipped two orders from chinavasion and the first one arrived in a reasonable amount of time and the buyer was quite happy with item. Unfortunately they forgot to include the bonus memory stick with it and after quite some time I'm still waiting to hear from them.

There responses to my help tickets have been 50/50, some they respond quickly and well... i'm still waiting on a response from the missing item. I was a little peeved that I received a quick response to some feedback I left on the running of the help tickets and its functions, which I posted just over a week after the missing memory stick one. Isn't keeping my buyer happy a priority? I'm not sure.

Also, they're descriptions/manufacturers specifications aren't always spot on. For example they advertised a 3.0Mpixel camera phone, then out of the blue changed it to 0.3Mpixel... which wasn't too good for me because I had a sale in progress with the original description. When the first guy received the phone I dropshipped to him it said 1.3Mpixels on the box.

Overall it's a 5/10 for me. I'm still cautious, before giving them a good wrap for SOME of there customer service skills.

Ordering seems to be fine though... except for the above hiccups.

I'm about to try and find out what the next step is because I haven't received a response from them re' the memory stick. But disapointed that after all the other good stuff they haven't responded yet (it's been approx. 2 weeks)

I'll let you know how I go. (the buyer is very happy with the phone though - even with all the hiccups. thank god for that!)

Jodie

Well on my faux Ipod Nano and after 12 plus hours of research, I have learned that Apple and Windows do not get along! HA Soooo Bill Gates or his cronies developed Beta Windows Media Player 11. This should solve my problem of trying to transfer purchased Apple Itunes to my little pretend Nano. I'll know if it works later today. I didnt want my customers emailing and crying about not being able to transfer all the music they had purchased! Couldnt sell them with that problem going on!

The only think i don't like about this site is:

Reviews section
What reviews? Everyone is asking for larger pictures and general question on the items for sale.

Photos:
Most are way too small for any ebay seller.
