I have ordered and paid to DHgate for some goods.
However, a seller who was dealing with me, did not have a stock.
The seller told me that DHgate will refund me shortly but it has been a month. Of course, I have requested DHgate to refund me many times but nothing was done. This is not only once but quite often happened to me.
What should I do?

Another question is, Have anyone successfully returned goods?
If the item is not same as their description, then Can I return the goods?

Have you spoken directly to the DHgate customer support?

I had a problem like this before, but there customer support for me was suprisingly good, and I got my refund through paypal in under a week.

My advice when buying from a seller on Dhgate would be to ask lots of questions to the seller before you buy, to:

1. Test their response time.
2. Test their interest level.
3. One of the most important things, (to me) test their english.

Time and time again I get chinese sellers who can't speak any english trying to sell products overseas. Trust me, I get very frustrated, and you can avoid this by asking questions first.

Do all these things and the chance of having to return the item or get a refund is minute.

Thank you ezy2sell

Yes, I know what you mean.

Dhgate partially refunded me within a week but still unpaid me the other order which I ordered at same time.
So I kept asking them couple of times but then they told me to be patient.
They owe me more than US$300 all together.
Should I claim as dispute?

300 bucks is quite a bit of money for them to owe you.

filing a dispute through paypal is really slow and takes to much hard work. Personally, I would keep emailing customer support, and the seller letting them know your concerns.

There are actually several people at their customer service, so this means that some may have different perspectives than others, which means that there is a good chance one of them will understand you and hopefully give the refund, but stress to them how you may not buy again on Dhgate, and that should speed them up, did for me, just don't be aggresive about it, that won't help

Also buyers can try using a translator and sending the message in simple or traditional chineese. Then maybe the seller will respond to you more appropriately. you can find decent ones at

Thanks for your advise Jimmy!

They just refunded me one out of four orders today. I wonder why they can not do it all together.
