Has anyone heard of or had dealings with MRCMALL? Their products and prices are great but the question is are they genuine and/or is the company legitimate? They accept bank transfers and western union only until you have a total purchase surpassing 2000 euros then they'll class you as a VIP member and accept PayPal payments after that.

Sorry to disappoint you, johnzy-e but for sure the branded products being offered on this site are NOT authentic.

They are based in China and as a rule you never ever buy anything offered as branded from suppliers based in China. If you do, you'll just end up with a copy or replica. Also you could end up in a lot of trouble - if authorities intercept your order.

And you have to take note that Western Union and bank transfers are big no-nos when paying suppliers. As there is no way to get your money back if the deal goes sour. Ideally suppliers must offer safe payment methods such as PayPal and/or credit cards even if you are not a VIP member.

Hope this helps. Cheers! :)

P.S. Your pic would be a great addition to your profile! :)

26 May 10 10:56:32 pm is a China based supplier that offers name brand products. I haven't personally dealt with them but if you search throughout the forum, you'll learn to be very cautious when dealing with Chinese suppliers as most branded goods that come from China are either replicas or fakes. Their products may be cheap but you can't really be a hundred percent sure that these are authentic brands as advertised. Low prices do not necessarily mean fraud, but radically low prices such as theirs should warrant a closer look.

We find that Chinese suppliers are perfect for cheap, generic goods. In fact, you won't find goods anywhere else cheaper. But if you wish to purchase brand-name items, then we STRONGLY recommend buying it somewhere else.

This supplier is fairly new, in fact their website was just registered last month. There are many scam sites on the internet pretending to be reliable suppliers. These sites will either take your money and then never send the goods you paid for, or they will send very poor quality or fake merchandise. Most scammers disappear within a few months to a year once word of their reputation begins to spread. So it's generally safest to deal with suppliers who have been online at least a couple of years. Cause then it means that they're already well established and safe enough to deal with.

My other reservation is their contact email. Both their email addresses are hosted on free accounts, of course, this is not a guaranteed way of telling whether a supplier is good or bad, but suppliers whose contact email address are at their own domain name are more likely to be legitimate.

More importantly, paying this supplier by their accepted methods of Western Union and bank transfers means that if something goes wrong you will LOSE your money.

Hope that helps.
