I have just taken my first step and joined one of the drop-ship companys supplied; focalprice.com. When i came to fill out the sections to enquire about their drop-shipping, they had a section that had to be filled in or you could not proceed any further asking me for my shop Url. I do not have a shop Url so i tried to contact them but there was a problem, you have to have Outlook Express on your computer. I had this in the past and it had a virus with it and it took ages to remove. So next they claim to have a live chat section but that did not seem to work. I do not want to be having an expensive phone call to what looks like the USA. Is there any way you can help me or do i cancel my account with them.

Hi James,

Leave it with me, I'll pass onto Shane in the morning and she will sort that out for you.

Cheers

I posted this message on the 14th, it is now the 17th and i have not got a reply. I got a message back from the company; focalprice.com saying if i had any problem email them through their email address. Clearly no one is reading my messages or they would know that i have been having problems with this way of contact. This means i will not be dealing with this company and i will be doing everything in my power to discredit this company. So much for my first experience.

Hi James,

I apologize for my oversight, but I was away on Monday and didn't get a chance to forward to Shane and then over looked it yesterday. I have just spoken to her about the situation and she will be contacting this supplier and informing them of the issue that you have been having with them.

Shane will be in touch with you as soon as she has had a chance to contact the supplier on your behalf.

Next, i have just tried to join another company; Big Buy. When filling out their sections they are asking for my; TIN. I assume it stands for Tax ID Number. I am in the UK, what is and where will i find my number.

Hi James,

Just use your UK tax id. If the system refuses to accept that, we suggest contacting the supplier and telling them that you are located in the UK and therefore use a UK tax id and they should be able to resolve that issue for you.

The tax id is just about ensuring you are a genuine registered business opening an account.

Cheers

Hey, James,
Try this; when you hover your cursor over the "contact us" button or whatever they have you click on to send them an email, just look down in the lower left corner of your computer and a tiny window will usually open that will have the person's actual email address you which to contact. I have the same problem; I don't have Outlook and found out how to get their email address by doing that. Once you read their email address, you can just send them an email as you would to anybody else.
Tom
